Over a মাস ago, in true বৃক্ষ পাহাড় fashion, অনুরাগী were left to agonize over the fates of their পছন্দ characters - thanks to some killer cliffhangers. Finally our fears about Leyton have been put to rest; we can stop screaming at the TV because of Sam's bad judgement; and as for Nathan: well, it's about time he got something he wished for!
In 6x13, the focus was back on relationships... and not just boy-girl ones. It was kinda reminescent of the early years. Keep পাঠ করা for my personal take on some of the twisted triangles introduced Monday night:)
Hook-ups, Break-ups, Make-ups
After Owen acted the part of the jerk so perfectly in episode 6x12, it's pretty obvious that he and Brooke will be heading their separate ways. In fact, it sounds like Owen is gonna be M.I.A in the near future. Cue the Brooke-Julian romance we've all been holding our breaths for! B. Davis deserves a man in her life; after all, it has been awhile since the attack that turned her off to dating. I don't know about the rest of you, but I miss Brooke's smile. Think Julian can bring it back? Let's hope so! Let's also hope that when she does find প্রণয় again, it won't be a repeat of Brooke Davis the high school "hoe" - (though that phase was funny, huh)?
Now that Chase is back in town, he might pursue a certain brunette from his past, but I think the former "clean teen" has set his sights on a different dark-haired girl...Mia. That scene with the two of them behind the bar pouring drinks was totally adorable! And the fact that Chase couldn't believe Mia's real age is 18 - c'mon, he is sooo into her!!! So is she, it would seem because when the rockstar finally tore away from his gaze and escaped to Peyton's office, her cheeks were rosy red. On cwtv.com's ছবি gallery, there are pics of Mia and Chase together, so maybe this prediction isn't much of a shocker; it's probably already been confirmed somewhere. I'm just reiterating what a cute couple they would make.
Here's the toughie: Mouth and Millie. This two-some could really go either way because they both made mistakes that neither can take back. Now, the way I see it, Millicent could forgive, and Mouth could forget...or they will let each other's screw-ups ruin a beautiful relationship. But seriously, even though Millie shouldn't have done IT with Owen, Mouth needs to lay off the third degree. Anyway, this is the first time Millie has hurt him, whereas he's been hurting her for the entire sixth season. All Mouth had to do was tell Gigi to take a hike, but instead, he acted like her flirting was cute. No wonder his girlfriend snapped. Who wouldn't? But although I feel for Millie, I wish they'd work it out.
Maternity and Motherhood
Yippee!!! Peyton and Lucas are going to have a baby, which means there will be 2 Scott families in বৃক্ষ পাহাড় pretty soon. I'll be honest, I had this horrible sinking feeling that Luke's "precious Peyton" wouldn't live to walk down the aisle and say "I do" to the guy who fixed her car and her হৃদয় all those years ago. That's why I'm ecstatic she is healthy and about to give birth to Jamie's little cousin - (in 9 months, that is)! Of course, what is One বৃক্ষ পাহাড় without loads of drama, especially where LP is concerned? Whenever Lucas and Peyton find perfect bliss, it ususally means something is bound to go wrong. Now, I'm not saying that Mark Schwann would make P. Sawyer have a miscarriage, - that girl has been through WAY too much as it is - but ইউটিউব has leaked that there will be pregancy complications, all of which are physical. Bottom line though, mommy and baby will be fine in the end. Wouldn't it be awesome if she had a girl? A little Peyton junior running around with bouncy blond curls? I'm thinking Elizabeth Anna Scott...Ellie for short:) And Haley has already called dibs on godmother, but there is no way Peyton could choose between both her best friends, so Brooke and Haley will probably share the title.
Crime and Punishment
In my পূর্ববর্তি installent of this series I mentioned that Q's killer might be back on the scene. Well, the suspicions have been confirmed, so I need to spend some আরো time talking about the deadly Quentin-Sam-older brother স্ক্যান্ডাল Brooke has found herself in the middle of. We all kinda knew Sam was throwing away common sense when she slid into the backseat of a car driven দ্বারা such a shady character. Luckily the situation did not turn out as dire as it could have; Sam and Brooke are reuinited again, and we finally got to see that mother-daughter bond we've been rooting for week after week. However, the "have a nice night dude" - (that's what I've decided to call him) - is still on the loose, which means havoc for the people of this not-so-sleepy town. Has anyone noticed দ্বারা now that বৃক্ষ Hill, North Carolina, is phsyco central? If this guy becomes a repeat of Stalker Derek, I will be লেখা a strongly worded letter to the producers. Just kidding...I thrive on this drama!!! Anyway, there is no crime without punishment, so even if it takes a few episodes, this murderer will land himself behind bars eventually.
