Brooke can adopt - it would be hard to know I couldn't have kids, but there are other options. I'm not sure about Brooke's medical details as I didn't watch most of season 7, but she may even be able to give one of her eggs to a surrogate and Julian could donate one of his soldiers - since they're now getting married, I'm assuming it would be him who would contribute :P

With hales, losing a parent, I couldn't imagine. No matter what, your mother can never be replaced. That's all I gotta say...

I think that Brooke's problems are kinda "uderrated"... I think she suffered way too much this season! For some people the Julian/Alex drama may just be a silly misunderstanding - nothing to worry about! But I think that it's way more complicated than that!

Brooke had serious trusting problems! She was still hurt as she had her heart broken in the past and as a result she had bulit her defences! She was therefore hesitant to trust someone! That kept love out of her life and as much as she wanted to love (and she did love), she wanted to make sure that Julian's feelings were the same with hers! She had made mistakes in the past or was rather the victim of other people's mistakes and she didn't want this to happen again! And after all, she thought that she would make her life with Julian and that they would live happily ever after finally, but when Alex came she thought that her dreams would be destroyed! She thought that she would lose the boy!

But the greatest problem was definitely the infertility issue! Well, a lot of people will say that losing soemone you love is the worst thing that can happen in your life. Especially losing a parent! It definitely is devastating, but I think that everyone knows that his/her parents will die sometime and probably before their children! It's natural! It's the circle of life! However, Brooke was the one that learnt that she couldn't have kids! I think it's a really significant and also terrible discovery! It's as if she learned that she has no future, because the purpose in man's life is reproduction - to have kids! And we all know how much Brooke wanted to have kids - more than Peyton and Haley! It was one of the worst things that could happen to her! And it's not that simple like "So what? She can adopt!" It's more than that! We may not have seen her suffer as much as Haley, but I think that is mainly because the writers didn't focus on it!

I don't think Brooke's issues are underrated. I think it must be horrible to be barren, but I would rather be barren than lose my mother so soon, and so out of the blue. IMO, being barren is the lesser of two evils. I don't feel like Brooke's situation is a "so what" situation at all, but at least she has options in face of her problems. There's no option to replace your mother. That's how I see it :)

i would of chosen both but i think it was harder for brooke because she gave her heart to julian and she got heart again and she always wanted to have kids and to find out she couldnt that hurt her alot but it was also a hard season for haley having to deal with the renee drama and then losing her mom

Her mother died, nothing is worse than that.

not able to having children it's a nightmare i guess especially since Brooke wanted kids so bad it was terrible and yeah Haley's was to terrible indeed loosing your mom but she was already like what 25 , Quinn like almost 30 and Taylor older so that made Lydia how old ?past 50 so at some point she would've died ( i repeat it is horrible to have your mother that , didn't happened to me thank god but i am sure)but not having children of your own ever it's horrible even if you adopt you will know that the kid isn't really yours and even if it's half Julian still

It was a terrible season for Brooke too but seriously Haley lost her mom! I know it's horrible to not be able to have child when it's one of most wanted thing in your like and all the triangle again but I can't imagine my life without my mom and I think that is the worst think someone can experienced in a life. I totally understand why she was depressed and all.

yeah that's just because Brooke didn't want everyone to find out and she wasn't rude that's all the only reason i choose Brooke over Haley because not being able to have children is a nightmare your mother would die sooner or later and indeed i am sure it would be very painful but never to have children ... *shivers*

Haley lost her mother and Brooke found out she can't have kids... Those were the saddest moments for me this season.
OTH is the only show that makes me CRY. The others make me cry too, but with OTH I just can't help to cry a river, as Justin Timberlake once said...
