I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Which Member Of The X-Men Is Guest-Starring In Deadpool?
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Mo'Nique Can't Book Jobs in Hollywood Anymore Because of the 2010 Oscars
How the most popular alcoholic drinks around the world are made
Doctor Who Comics Are Getting Their Own Multi-Doctor Crossover
\'s new season offers a look at what\'s in store for the Clone Club. An alleged extra on
teases some Han Solo dialogue. Plus, news from Fox\'s
Now that this movie is actually moving forward at last, there\'s more casting news. Gina Carano has "closed a deal" to join the film, playing a character named Angel Dust, who\'s a member of the Morlocks in the comics. Also joining the film: T.J. Miller, in an unspecified comedic role. And X-Men member Piotr Rasputin, aka Colossus, will also be in this movie, presumably still played by Daniel Cudmore.
And there\'s a new synopsis, which clarifies just how Deadpool\'s origin will be portrayed on screen: "Reynolds is an assassin who is dying of cancer who undergoes a procedure that is supposed to cure him but ends up twisted and scarred while also imbued with super-powers." [ Hollywood Reporter]
Making Star Wars has a report from a supposed extra who had scenes with Harrison Ford, Daisy Ridley and Carrie Fisher. There\'s not much, other than the scene took place somewhere described as \'a hideout for pirates, criminals and empire hunters\'. The extra also added this single line of Han\'s:
Marion Cotillard has joined the video game adaptation, allegedly in a role that will span across multiple Assassin\'s Creed movies. [ Deadline]
Brad Fuller briefly spoke about the next movie in the long-running Horror franchise, suggesting that they\'re considering investigating Jason\'s immortality:
There\'s always been this supernatural aspect to these movies. It defies logic that, you see Jason get killed in every movie, including ours, the 2009 one. And then he comes back and no one\'s ever really investigated what that is. So that\'s something that I think about a little bit. Like it is supernatural, but what is he? Those are the things that we\'re toying with. Nothing has been decided. But those type of things: How does he always come back?
People traditionally want to understand exactly how and why things happen, and yet something so odd happens at the end of these movies and no one seems to question it. So people come to the movie with the expectation that the real villain will be killed and come back. And yet we never toyed with that notion….Those are the things that we\'re asking ourselves. And we\'ll see what comes of it.
Yes, even Space Invaders needs a writer — and it has one! Dan Kunka will pen the script for the adaptation of the arcade classic. [ Deadline]
Dan London will reprise his role from the movie as Wally the Caretaker in the pilot of the show, which is set 10 years after the end of Precrime that came about in the film. Meanwhile, Li Jun Li will play Akeela, a CSI technician that works closely with Detective Lara Vega. [ Deadline]
Here\'s a press release for \'Aftershocks\', the midseason première, which confirms that Adrianne Palicki\'s Bobbi Morse is now a series regular:
After discovering an alien city with ties to his resurrection, Coulson and his team destroyed it before the forces of Hydra could claim its secrets, eliminating the villainous Whitehall in the process. But new threats to the world have arisen, including Skye\'s father, Cal, who now seeks retribution against Coulson for stealing his revenge against Whitehall; a disturbing alliance between former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Ward and Agent 33; the enigmatic Raina, who struggles with her transformation into something inhuman by the alien Obelisk and seeks vengeance; and Skye, who developed mysterious new powers from the Obelisk but whose lack of experience with her new abilities may threaten the safety of those she loves.
Meanwhile, Bobbi and Mack begin the next phase of a plan which seems to have grave repercussions for Coulson and his team, who are unaware that there\'s another mysterious force moving against them. And as Hunter is forced to make the biggest choice of his life, Coulson will find his mission threatened by this shocking endgame.
A report from Superhero Hype suggests that producers are looking for an African American actress to play Tulip O\'Hare, Jesse Custer\'s ex-girlfriend.
Sources at Spoiler TV have a few details regarding the pilot for the CW\'s new supernatural show. There will apparently been a framing device connecting the episodes through the character of Newman, playing a narrator who tells the tale of people who come across the mysterious darkside. They also offer this short description of the pilot\'s plot:
Joss enters the Darkside after she swerves to avoid Newman in the road and hits a mailbox with her car. Joss was texting and driving. She ends up having an odd encounter with Newman that leaves her upset.
Joss ends up babysitting the two kids who live in the house, Ward and Pam. During the night she also invites her boyfriend Carter to join her. Joss quickly realizes that the two kids are actually horrifying children of The Darkside with devices that can cause all sorts of evil to come out of thin air. With the odds against her, Joss is determined to come out of this experience alive.
A few more auditions for the show have hit the internet, offering some dialogue snippets that may or may not show up in the pilot. The scenes include Kara saying goodbye to her Kryptonian parents, and another where the pilot\'s villain, DC Comics character Lumberjack, colludes with a mysterious third party. Here\'s a sample of the dialogue:
Lumberjack: Yes, and the girl. Where do you think she came from?
Mysterious Villain: He (Superman) made it to Earth. Is it so hard to believe others did too?
Mysterious Villain: It appears so. She must not become an impediment to our plans. The general has ordered you to locate her and terminate.
Lumberjack: I can\'t promise her death won\'t be public and messy.
Mysterious Villain: Casualties are irrelevant. Never forget who imprisoned you.
Lumberjack: I wont. I intend to repay that debt in full.
Meanwhile, here\'s an episode description for the next episode, \'Fallout\', as STAR Labs deals with the splitting of Ronnie and Doctor Stein back into separate people:
After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Dr. Stein (guest star Victor Garber), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling (guest star Clancy Brown) targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Hayworth) tells Iris (Candice Patton) that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel.
But that\'s not all - there\'s also a brief teaser hyping up the appearance of hyper-intelligent villain-primate Gorilla Grodd on the show. [ Coming Soon]
Executive Producer Julie Plec talks about Sheriff Forbes\' death in the most recent episode:
Plec: Marguerite and I have been good friends since we did Kyle XY together and three episodes into Season 1, we were looking for the sheriff and Kevin [Williamson] was like, "What about your friend Marguerite?" So I called her and said, "You want to be a sheriff? You can come to Atlanta and we can hang out together" and she came and entered our universe and six years later was the last parent standing, the last grownup standing. She has been on the chopping block of death since Episode 4 of Season 1 and over a certain amount of time her relationship with Caroline became so profound that we thought we\'ll never kill her because this mother-daughter relationship is one of the most important bonds on the show! So every time we talked about [her dying] I would burst into tears. The cancer story line killed all of us.
Plec: That seat is going to remain vacant for awhile; it\'s an answer that will come in Season 7. But her death will put people on new paths and make them make choices about who they want to be and what they want to do with their lives so maybe someone\'s path will lead them in that direction.
And here are some promotional pictures from her funeral in the next episode - you can see more at the link here. [TV Line]
Here\'s a fourth teaser for the third season, this time featuring Cosima. [ Spoiler TV]
Here\'s a bevy of videos teasing the Flying Graysons heading to Gotham in the next episode. [ Coming Soon]
The circus comes to town on "Gotham" this week and even "The Blind Fortune Teller" could have told you it\'d bring murder in its wake.
Gordon and Leslie\'s date to a performance of Haly\'s Circus comes to a halt upon the discovery of a dead body – the show\'s snake charmer. As they investigate, the colorful setting adds a sense of whimsy to the often dreary world of Gotham City – acrobats and clowns brawling, a python used as a clue-sniffing police dog (Essen\'s reaction to this is awesome), the bullpen of the GCPD filled with bright costumes. But things take a darker turn when the titular character gets involved, running Gordon and Leslie right into the Joker tease/red herring/marketing ploy that\'s dominated the promos for this episode.
Speaking of references to Batman\'s comic book world, flirting on the sidelines of the story are John Grayson and Mary Lloyd, two youngsters from rival circus families who seem like the type to grow up and have a son who\'s a real Boy Wonder. The case also tests Gordon and Leslie\'s relationship, as he\'s unnerved by her enthusiasm while she finds it hypocritical that he claims to want to be with a woman who can handle his dangerous profession, but then constantly tries to protect her from it.
Meanwhile, in the show\'s ongoing attempt to cram as many Batman characters into itself as possible here\'s a teaser heavily implying that the Joker is going to be making his presence felt in the series soon. [ Superhero Hype]
wasn\'t obvious enough, here\'s Bruno Heller hammering it home:
"I won\'t tell you that\'s the Joker, but I will tell you this is not a trick," Heller tells TVGuide.com. "This is not a game. This is the beginning of the Joker saga."
Peggy is cornered and more vulnerable than ever as Leviathan makes their move against her. As the SSR zeroes in on Howard Stark, they may pay the ultimate price as they find their true enemy is closer than they realized.
And here\'s a clip, where Dooley, Sousa and Thompson interrogate Peggy. [ Coming Soon]
Here\'s the first, briefest possible teaser for Ryan Murphy\'s new show. [ TV Line]
The advance preview for \'Awakening\' promises demonic shenanigans in store for Abbie and Ichabod:
The first part of the episode deals with freak occurences that happen at the same time to three different people whose eyes suddenly turn white and something demonic happens with them before they seemingly return to normal. There\'s a really good connection to what\'s happened in the past on the show involving some characters that haven\'t been around in a long time. Fortunately, Abbie and Ichabod are on the case and they are literally never apart in this episode... until the end. There\'s no time for breathing in this episode once it all kicks off so Abbie and Ichabod are literally on their feet for most of this episode.
All descendants of the covens in Sleepy Hollow will be affected by the Liberty Bell, so there\'s potential for mass chaos. If Katrina rings it, the power will be unleashed and Henry appeals to her. We already know she\'s heading down a dark path, yet Henry is appealing to her want for family. A few people\'s minds will be at ease who thought Katrina would be the "damsel-in-distress" and be forced to choose this path, but that\'s not the case. It\'s free will, her choice. That\'s not to say she hasn\'t been manipulated by Henry, but there is nothing forcing her to be Evil Katrina. Will she see the error of her ways? I don\'t know, but the power of her son holds strong on her heart. What a mother wouldn\'t do, right? The dark path seems a bit confusing right now and the things Katrina says and does do not reflect anything she\'s stood for in the past. There\'s huge contradictions, even if it is her choice. It\'s clear she loves her son but can we take her at face value?
And now, a metric buttload of preview clips from the episode. Not one, not two, not three, but four! [ Spoiler TV]
Cole finds himself in an alternate reality in this clip from \'The Red Forest\'. [ Spoiler TV]
