OUTLANDER stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe have given their thanks to fans following the show\'s stunning win at the People\'s Choice Awards.

The Starz time travel series was named Favourite Cable TV SciFi/Fantasy Show at the awards this week .

Outlander\'s cast and crew took to social media to celebrate the news , tweeting their thanks and congratulations to co-stars.

But now the beloved Jamie and Claire have recorded a special message to the show\'s fans alongside their prestigious award.

Caitriona said: "We just want to say thank you so much to the fans. This is amazing."

Scots actor Sam added: "Yes, the People\'s Choice Award. Thank you so much from everyone involved in Outlander. It\'s a great achievement and, obviously, one of the best awards as it\'s been voted for by you."

It was double delight for Irish beauty Caitriona as she also picked up the award for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress.

And Sam joked that the achievement meant she can now "go to space".

Caitriona also told fans: "Now you can put your fingers, from all that voting, into a nice bowl of ice and chill them down."
