Request - Genderbent!

ruthc93 Another art that has been lying around in my USB since forever. Request from crazyMADgirl from DA! She wanted genderbend. And I was like >8D. I've actually been toying with this idea for a long time, so when she requested it, I jumped at the chance to actually do it. XD As you can probably see, I had no intention of making the genderbent versions of them to be anything like their male counterparts. Instead, I focused more on their personalities and imagined which type of female appearance will fit their characters the most. Here's the notes about each one. Skipper - Name suggestions, anyone? He's...I mean, she's the one I had the most trouble with. I wanted her have long hair, for some strange reason, but I couldn't decide what hairstyle to give her. Also, I wanted to put the pink ribbon in, a nod to the episode "Miss Understanding". In the end I drew it the way you see it now, and I'm actually quite satisfied with it. She's definitely the one I spent the most time on. Kowalskaya - I've had already had his genderbend in mind for quite some time now, so that was left was to draw her out. I've alway liked this kind of character, so I was more than willing to try it out on her. It worked out nicely, I'd say. Rita/Rika - Vote for your favorite name, peoples. I can't decide. Anyway, she was kinda a spur of the moment thing, much like when I first designed her male counterpart. I just picked up my pencil and drew without thinking. And it turned into that. And so I left it like that. Enough said. XD Privette - LOL, I still can't get over the name I gave her. English is a wonderful language. Anyway, I, of course, wanted her to give off the same innocent air as her male counterpart. I decided that pigtails should do the trick. And freckles. She's cute. X3 Juliet - Obvious name choice, certainly. I wanted to give her that royal feel, and long flowing hair is the symbol of royalty. To me, at least. Look at me, stereotyping....Anyway, I don't have much to say about her. Sorry, Jules. XD Marlin - Again, obvious name choice. He was fun to design. I wanted him to be the kind that somehow has the most common sense despite being the plainest one among them all. Kinda like Kyon from Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi. He still has that white streak like his female counterpart, though it's swept to the side. So there you have it. Look at all the words...I'd be surprised if anyone didn't just skim through it. XD

Katie_Kat200 I don't really like gender benders. I don't know why. WHY!? But I like Kowalski for some reason. He's handsome when he's a boy and pretty when she's a girl XD .... I realize I have nothing else to say... EDIT: Actually, I do. With your female Private, if you added a lightning shaped birtmark across one of the eyes, added glasses and put the ponytails a little lower, changed the eye color to purple, and messed the hair up a little more, you would probably get my OC as a human... that has nothing to do with this picture :(

fox_tamer_113 Wow... Skipper looks... Cute! :3 Hmmm... Well... Skipper is a name for both genders... But if you want a girl name for him... I suggest... Arissa, it means the best! :D Ryanne, it means leader :) Or maybe... Savita, it means Best in the universe. =^_^= And, I like Rita better than Rika! :)

diamondnature I am just wondering why isn't people really doing genderbends of them.I mean like, I see so many fanarts of them as human(and they look really hot*coughs*) but I would like see them as girls and this looks amazing!
