when did i see দেবদূত cry
i saw an অ্যাঞ্জেল cry when
a poor man asked for help
but was denied

I saw an অ্যাঞ্জেল cry
when a প্রেমী হৃদয়
was broken
and devoured দ্বারা despair

i saw an অ্যাঞ্জেল cry
when two best বন্ধু
had a fight, ব্যক্ত unnecessary words
and didn't talk for a couple of weeks

i saw an অ্যাঞ্জেল cry when
a husband and a wife kept secrets
from each other
thinking no one will know, no one will get hurt

but আপনি see their tears
are not like the tears
that আপনি and i
sometimes cry

their tears are much
more bitter
each tear is stained
with a grief that pierces their hearts
