But there are better ways of expressing your feelings for one another. প্রণয় is not just another word for sex, although the two often meet in a relationship.

A lot of people প্রণয় each other but do not have sex. A lot of people have sex but do not প্রণয় each other. The two are CONNECTED, but not the same.

I'm asexual. So that quote is basically saying I cannot ever find প্রণয় because I am disgusted দ্বারা the thought of sex.
