*Sigh*...If there was no homework...we could save a lot আরো trees!! BAN HOMEWORK! Plus,..why give us homework? Isn't work for school..I think some teachers are just too lazy to teach the rest xP lol

আপনি live in Japan, your country can use all the trees it can get. XD
I'm happy to do homework if I think it will actually help me in the GCSE. Otherwise, it seems teachers give us homework for the sake of having it. It barely ever gets checked, and sometimes they give it us on things we haven't covered yet, which just brings down confidence.
I've been wanting to rant about this for a while. :)

I completely agree with you, apart from the 'i'm happy to do homework' bit. :) i don't have enough time for homework, I have dance and drama classes all week, and I never get all of it done, then i just get detentions.:(
We students spend all those hours at school ether bored অথবা stressed and teachers insist on making us do some at home. Do they think we don't have lives অথবা something? If আপনি schools want us to learn then integrate আরো tech into the school systems...oh wait, they can't because the government doesn't give them enough money. And note this is coming from a person who actually enjoys school.
I have a life. If the school thinks I'm gonna waste my quality time লেখা bullshit math problems that I had already BEEN doing for the past 7 hours, y'all have another thing coming.
Some homework is good for you. A short worksheet to review and reinforce the day's lessons, and an occassional essay অথবা project is good. hours of homework only drains the student.
Some studies showed that we retain আরো information and understand better after taking a break from it, so homework does make আপনি smarter. If আপনি don't do at least some of it you're আরো likely to forget what আপনি learned. Your parents will know what you're learning if they care. It also helps the teacher know if they're doing a good enough job.
About an ঘন্টা of homework should be good enough for all of that
