It sounds like something that someone who didn't know anything would say to sound like they know something. The meaning is nice I guess, but the wording is awful. And I hate উদ্ধৃতি and such like that...

It wasn't a personal attack towards you, so don't take it as one, and don't make a personal attack against me for being honest. And if আপনি really respected it, আপনি wouldn't have tried to insult me like that.
