There's a huge difference between chat language and troll language. Everyone can make a typo, but আপনি have to make sure people understand what you're trying to say.
If I find it hard to understand what somebody is trying to say, I just try harder, no biggie. I don't use txt language much, but I don't mind chatting with a someone here who wrts lke ds. What do I care? If it gets on my nerves, I ignore that person, simple as that. But when telling them to improve their grammar when আপনি feel like you're bothered দ্বারা it, you're just wasting your time দ্বারা doing it. অথবা আপনি could just ask that person, instead of shoving something in their face, as that happens a lot on here. People who complain about things like this should simply go and cry somewhere, to be blunt. This is still just a silly website and as long as you're not saying anything offensive, I think আপনি should be allowed to say it anyway আপনি want.
Because it makes those who use "Txt Tlk"/"Troll Language" (the official language of the moron culture) look like complete idiots who can't speak English right; and I, good sir, LOATHE idiots and I greatly disapprove of public display of idiocy. >B|
I'm not talking about those who aren't native speakers of English; THAT is the only case that is understandable.
The answer to this might speak for itself already, but eh. So, being too lazy to at least try to delve into what that person is saying a bit is OK, but being too lazy to type correctly is dumb and idiotic? It could just as well be that person has a point... but just as you, 'good sir', refuse to figure out how to decipher a few lines, that person could also refuse to adapt their posts just because there are a few people telling them to.

Personally, The Chat Language (When Its Typed) Can be Confusing. Im Not Saying আপনি Cant Use It.. But Its Much Better When People Can Understand You. ^_^
It's probably because it's annoying to read.... Like, i'm not trying to be rude, but I find when people spell like that it's harder to understand them, same thing when people use all স্মারক অথবা tHey TyPE liKE ThiS. That's why.
Because most people, like myself, can't understand what the hell you're saying. Or, also like me... they just cannot stand when there is a spelling mistake, অথবা they're a grammar Nazi.
if it's barley readable how did আপনি answer her প্রশ্ন (the m i right part) sometimes it's best to let others know NICELY before shoving it in their face like they are illiterate.
It's best to spell right because then people will understand what your saying. if আপনি use letters for words, then আপনি might not ever know how to spell right.
I find it very annoying when people "tlk liek dis" because I can never understand them. So no, your not right, it may be the internet but that doesn't mean everyone can go around typing like a three বছর old with a computer.

I couldn't agree more! But the thing is it's hard for people to understand sometimes, and plus it makes আপনি forget to use proper english. আপনি might start লেখা sentences like this: da dog wnt ovr 2 da moon" in your English exam.
But is people have problems with পাঠ করা something like that, then they should just ask politely instead of making rude মতামত and shoving their "proper English" into other's faces as if they are illiterate.

Well,no i dont really agree with you.yes,you can use SMS language when আপনি are chatting with someone who আপনি know WILL understand you,but here,like there's people whose first language isnt english,so its hard for them to know what আপনি are saying.There's people i know on here personally who cant answer some প্রশ্ন coz they dont know what আপনি are saying...and its bad for your tests.Before আপনি know it,you have shortened everything in your papers and your teacher doesnt know WTF আপনি are saying.people dont mind when আপনি use short forms like PPL,WTF,IDK,IKR coz everybody knows what they mean.
To be honest, for the most part, it's only courtesy. It's polite to allow other people to understand what you're saying with too much hassle. It's also polite to try to break the habbit if a large number of people mention that you're difficult to understand (in a polite way! If they tell আপনি you're stupid and the grammar nazis are going to kill you, forget them)
The people who complain when someone uses "y" instead of "why" are simply condescending and trying to be difficult. Disregard them.
I think you're fine. I can understand everything you're saying perfectly, and so can everyone else who properly answered this question. (If they couldn't read it, they wouldn't be able to answer)
If i can read it then i dont really care for spelling mistakes as i always make them. If i cant read then i will ask what they said. i always use txt speech because i want to and its my life.
Because unlike some people, I can't understand most text talk, and if I don't understand, then frankly it's not something I should waste my time deciphering. It also makes someone look completely lazy and ignorant in using ACTUAL GRAMMATICAL LANGUAGE.
I'd be much happier if people talked not using text talk.

Unless you're a walking dictionary, I don't expect আপনি to spell everything correctly. At least try to spell as best as আপনি can. I find chat speak/troll speak very similar and it does annoy me, I'm not going to lie. Almost as much as people who abuse grammar.

There are websites that require full spelling, proper grammar, capitalization, etc. FANPOP, Tumblr, ফেসবুক (sadly some people ignore this one), Pophangover, etc are some examples. Chat language shouldn't exist. I hate it. It'sonly allowed in CHATTING, like direct messaging, hence the name CHAT language. But if it's a post অথবা মতামত অথবা something, it. Needs. To. Be. Spelled. Correctly.
Spelling also says that you're educated and bothered to learn proper ways. If আপনি type like that, it just makes আপনি look fucking stupid and lazy.
Well I don't like when people freak out at others if they simply spell a word wrong. That's when we call them grammar nazis! But if we were to take the way আপনি wrote this প্রশ্ন into account........ "Why do people care so much about spelling errors on Fanpop? It's the internet. We can use short forms if we want to."
No আপনি cannot use short forms on the web, think of it like the real world. Your প্রশ্ন isn't proper in any way...y is a letter not a word, few means very little not the same thing as do, ppl should not be short for people, it should be care so much for not care for so much, its should have a apostrophe and be capitalized as well as the should be in between it's and web, v is not even a letter in we, m is not short for am, I should be capitalized...that about covers it. Not everybody has English as their first language so text lingo ends up confusing them far worse than the full word would.
