It's sad but it's true: as a society we are very shallow.

However, this doesn't apply to everyone. When I listen to সঙ্গীত it's because I like it, and not because of the artist's looks.

Rebecca Black makes my ears bleed, yet people buy her album because....I'm honestly not sure.

I actually believe if people fall into obsessiveness over someone who they find has talent they might eventually think they're good looking too...aren't good looks just in the eye of the beholder?

Have আপনি considered that people actually LIKE their music? Personally I প্রণয় Lady Gaga- I প্রণয় her voice, her style, her songs. Yet I don't find her attractive at the least. Same goes for many other artists. And there are artists that I find very attractive, and yet I can't stand listening to them singing. It's all about taste, and just because আপনি dislike someone doesn't mean they're not talented. Also, it takes much আরো than good looks to make it in the সঙ্গীত industry. It takes hard work, devotion, and a massive ammount of luck.

It's an opinion thing some people think the 'popular' singers are ugly and like their voices some think they look good and hate their voices likewise some people hate both their voice and গান গাওয়া others প্রণয় both. same goes for the lesser know singers. Opinions create for a wide variety of view points thus I believe one cannot say all the talented singers only look okay and all the crappy singers only look good and vice versa.

I for one think she's good looking and has talent. Others may disagree in regards to talent and/or vocal skills.
