Has anyone else heard about what happened in Istanbul today?

Apparently, police have attacked protesters with tear gas and water বন্দুক because there has been resistance towards a planned bulldozing of Taksim Square.

It has never bothered me much that we had to সরানো to Turkey until now.
The government is planning to cut down the trees there and build a new mall, despite the fact that the city already has 100+ malls. Looking অগ্রবর্তী to সরানো back to Princeton.

High pressure hoses, though frankly literal water বন্দুক might be just as scary as hoses if you've just been gassed. It's crazy.
