Do আপনি think it's a good idea অথবা a bad idea for our school to start giving us our own laptop to bring to classes everyday?

NOOOOO.

That would be such a TERRIBLE idea! Imagine how much it would cost to give each student a laptop that costs a couple hundred bucks! And there is always a chance that someone is going to drop their laptop and break it অথবা just not take any care of it at all. The school would have to have the student pay the money অথবা just have to replace it themselves. And আপনি KNOW that a lot of students won't just use the laptops for assignments, they'll probably play games and whatnot during class instead of paying attention.

I don't think that's a good idea at all. So unnecessary. Does the school have regular computers? Why not just use those? How are laptops any better if you're not even going to take them anywhere? It's a waste of money. Even if there aren't any regular computers then there's no problem with just লেখা everything down. It's much better to remember everything আপনি need to know that way.

I think it is the worst idea in the world! The world is getting far too techy and its ridiculus. Kids will learn nothing because they have very few other resources. How will anyone learn anything with such a huge distraction aitting right in front of them. Its just as bad as a cell phone, in my opinion. Worst Idea Ever!

It's good because the school wouldn't have to waste money buying paper just though they can print handouts and such out to the students but it is also bad because students might lose the laptops,get it stolen অথবা they can drop it therefor damaging it. It's better if they just get Ipads instead for students. It's smaller,less likely to be dropped and the students can buy cases for it and if there isn't enough money to buy them,the school can make a fundraiser.

Yeah, I'll agree with আপনি that it's freakin' ridiculous. Back when I was in school, the teachers would put a bunch of laptops in a cabinet so that we could use them during the specific period. What's wrong with that? Couldn't they still let আপনি into the computer labs instead just like they usually did before? Holy Mexican pack mules, Batman.

Keep it up, schoolboard. Pretty soon, America might be LAST in education, in both schools AND workplaces all because of stupid crap like this. T_T

That's a terrible idea. If nothing else, it would be stupidly expensive and what if there aren't enough powerpoints for the chargers? What if someone forgets theirs? Most people I know wouldn't do any work and play on minesweeper the whole lesson.
It's also bad for people like আপনি (and me) who need to write stuff down. And what if আপনি have to do an assignment but all your notes are at school on the laptop? Who suggested this?

Well I have never ever heard of schools being too warm, usually it is the other way around and they waste AC freezing us out- unless maybe আপনি live in some deprived financial area and then the laptop is even আরো important. Yes, not everyone can afford one at home! Kids need equal opportunity education!

I think it is EXTREMELY important! [In this দিন and age] I think it AWESOME that they do that!

They may waste money elsewhere- but "priority-wise" it isn't about AC অথবা even friills like a new stadium as it is for many building bigger and better sports stuff to impress~ it should be about EDUCATION and an equal curriculum & opportunity. This was each person has the same tools and ones who might not be able to afford can have. If someone cannot be responsible that is their problem. If a school cannot do what it needs to in other areas then that is a seperate problem (like AC the লেখক mentioned অথবা "whatever").

and plus working on the computer on something আপনি don't like (which always happens in schools) is the most boring thing, and আরো complicated, I think tradicionalism is better in this case: pen and paper, kids has computers at home, why make them be with a computer the whole school দিন during a whole year?
that is torture in my opinion, see the high levels of stress someone who works in a office gets?
right, students will get it to even higher levels and so much earlier, and of course they will spoil they're eyes always looking at the bright screen.
when the doctors say the kids shouldn't be so much time looking at a computer I think these teachers don't pay much attention to them just saying.
