but ive gotten better.. people like to cause trouble and im..opiniated and also i defend myself. and im late to class a lot:) so ive gotten detention quite a bit. im finishing off a week of detention already...

It was so dumb, some people in the class were talking so they gave us all detention, but that was in 8th grade, and it happened only a few times...

At my school you went to detention during class hours, and you had to do homework otherwise you'd get busywork packets with really tedious questions you'd have to turn in after your time was up.
Just about everyone really hated it, but the few times I went I still consider to be some of my best times in high school.

Like, I remember one time, I had 3 or 4 class periods of detention in a row. (I still hadn't done anything majorly horrible despite it being so long) I got all my homework done, I got to do some of my own writing stuff that I wanted to do (by pretending I was doing homework), and I didn't have to deal with anyone at all. It was so quiet and peaceful and it was one of the few days I didn't go home with a splitting headache.
It was like that every single one of the few detentions that I got.

Looking back, I almost wish I'd gotten into trouble more often, just so I could have gone to the detention room. I would have been a lot better off in high school if more days had been like that.
