it's a special day. i know not everyone agrees, and i respect that. but i think it is so fun for teenagers and have you ever felt so excited when you were like 12 getting a valentines card? that's one side of it, but the other ofcourse is that is just a special day when we significantly REMIND ourselves about who we love and how much we love them- as it;s easy to put that sort of thing to the back of your mind what with the stresses and strains of everyday life, it's nice to have a day when you can just have a laugh. like halloween. that's pretty pointless too when you think about it deeply enough, but its still fun for most people.
i like to look at things in a lighthearted way if i can, and take them as i find them. i think thats what we need to do with valentines day :)
