Because they are. I am a kid, too. I am thirteen. I am irresponsible. I don't think 90% of us are mentally mature enough for a romantic relationship. I take my hat off to the 10%.
So, next time when your boyfriend's call interrupts your favorite Barney episode, you should start worrying.

i don't think that some people are fully mature at age thirteen, so i think that dating at 16 is a good start

16 is probably a good start, younger than that, just no.

people who date at my age (13) they are so clingy and some all ready have kids at 13!!!! i know that's not the youngest age of having a kid but these kids bring condoms talk about where at school they do it i think kids should start at 16 i am
