Red (stylized as RED and R3D) is an American rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band's lineup consists of singer Michael Barnes, guitarist Anthony Armstrong, bassist Randy Armstrong and ঢাকি Joe Rickard. They are known for their Christian rock সঙ্গীত which incorporates other sounds such as alternative rock, hard rock, heavy metal and post-grunge. Jasen Rauch and Andrew Hendrix were the rhythm guitarist and drummer, respectively, at the time of the band's formation. Hendrix was replaced দ্বারা Hayden মেষশাবক in 2006, who was then replaced দ্বারা Rickard. Though Rauch left the band in 2009, he still contributes to songwriting.

The first two albums earned the group Grammy Award Nominations for Best Rock Gospel Album while Until We Have Faces had a No. 2 debut on Billboard 200.[4]

RED returns with a unique mini-album of "recalibrated" songs from their best-selling album "Release The Panic". This edition includes six songs from "Release The Panic" that now have RED's signature strings, orchestrations, and other new elements added to the original tracks PLUS one new unreleased song from the "Release The Panic" sessions called "Run and Escape." On July 10, 2012, Red পোষ্ট হয়েছে that a new album will be in the works soon. The album will be produced দ্বারা Howard Benson, and will be released in February 2013.
