I've been a fan of Robert Downey Jr for around 20 plus years. I never gave up on him. I knew one day he would grow up and no pun intended here "Fly Right" (tee hee, tee hee as in now he can fly in IRONMAN!) I've Loved him ever since I saw him in Weird Science!!! His big brown eyes are adorable! I wish he would never gotten stupid on drugs and the drink but who hasn't got their own vises. O.K. enough said about that we all know about his run-ins with the Law, etc., etc...
Now about the Best Action Movie I've seen in years IRONMAN It's a well acted, well directed, well everything must I say more?!?! Robert did a Fantastic Job and I only hope he signs on to do IRONMAN 2 if he hasn't already and I hope they do a #3 if only they sign Robert onto doing a #3 I hear #3 is the Avengers that he should be in in 2010 or 2011 if that's the case that would be fine with me. I Love his acting and he was Great as Chaplin and I really Loved him in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Yes, I Love the man and no I'm not the stalker type I Love the man for who he is Great Actor, Funny Man and gives to charity...but I do have to admit he's very Beautiful!!!!! Anyway, I hope he keeps up his end and keeps pouring out quality stuff like IRONMAN! Marvel I give you kudos for hiring him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT JOB ROBERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been a fan of the Beautiful and Gorgeous Robert Downey, Jr. for like a year and some months now. I sure do wish I was a fan much sooner! Oh, don't worry! I'm catching up real quick!! I honestly do feel like I have been a fan of Robert Downey, Jr. forever!!

How would you feel if you had a man that was as gorgeous, sexy, hot, adorable, figgity-fine as Robert Downey, Jr. waking up next to you every morning? I WOULD BE "DEE" HAPPIEST WOMAN IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!! I literally pray to God that I will someday have a man that is every inch of a man as Robert Downey, Jr. is! NO JOKE! I DO PRAY FOR SUCH A MAN!! Ha Ha Ha!
He is sooo adorable!! I love his eyes, his smile, his laugh, his hair, and just everything about him!! God made him out of some pretty good stuff!! Ha Ha Ha!!

i loved the movie weird science when i was younger and coincidentaly robet downey jrs character was my favorite in the film. i was immediately engulfed in a school girl crush. it kind of fell out for a while cuz i wasnt very aware of a lot of the films he was doing but its good to see him making such a strong comeback and being acknowledged for the talented actor and singer he is. nowadays it is hard to find actors who can bounce between drama, comedy, action..anything and shine through in every role. i have pretty much come to terms that there is no way in hell i would ever be lucky enough to meet him but i wil always keep that little bit of desperate hope tucked away in the back of my mind. so if theres any way hes curious enough to poke around and see what his fans are writing about him (which i doubt he would because he has a life unlike me) it would be really cool if he stumbled upon this and realized how much his work and his life has an effect on his fans. and it would be even cooler if i got a call from him thanking me for my pathetic devotion (again i wont hold my breath but it would make my lifetime).

i saw the shaggy dog but i was quite small then when i saw it so i didnt take much interest in actors back then but then i watched iron man and he looked bery fimilair so i googled him and then i watched tropic thunder and thought he was very very hilariously funny and then sherlock holmes came out and i couldnt stop watching movies that he was in so im catching up on the movies he was in so im getting there woooo love RDJ

I know I am a late comer but better late than never! I think he is hot, hot, hot! I have read the biography of RJD by Ben Falk and realise how hard he had it and how he successfully fought through it and came out stronger for it. Glad he found love and stability at last with Susan (as someone previously stated, wish it was me).

I like him in his later roles as he is definitely sexier in them and I really like him in Charlie Bartlett, Kiss Kiss Bang and The Shaggy Dog as it shows his human and funny side! Yummy yummy!!

when i saw Zodiac

I fell in love with the man ever since I saw Sherlock Holmes, which was only a couple of weeks ago. I know I am a tad late to recognise the hottness of the guy but what can I say. Just thinking about him makes me wanna go and watch a movie with him in it right now.

I saw him in a couple of movies here and there throughout my youth, but it wasn't until I saw Chaplin that I was like "Holy ****!" this guy can really act up there with some of the greats. I have to admit I was heartbroken when he did his downward spiral, but I became ever so proud when he picked himself up and has become one of Hollywood's most bankable stars. I knew he had it in him. I would love to see him do some more dramas and get himself the Oscar he so deserves.

Weird Science was ok but I realized what a great actor he was when Chaplin came out! Then he sort of hit the low time of his life but now he is back better than ever and I would watch re-runs of all of his movies til the end of time and never tire of him!

I have been a fan since he was young. I cried and it broke my heart to see him going through that rough period. Now he has Susan and tema Downey on his side. I love hearing him sing! I wish he would do more. He is a multi talented person! With much more to come, i hope :) I never stoped loving his work!
What i love about his work is is has not been all mainsteam. Yet in saying that,,, i do love him as Iron man.. to quote another on comic con. A lovable a**hole and they said something esle to... but i'm sure many have watched that clip. What an entrance he made.
