WHY WERE THE SAILOR STARS CHANGED FROM FEMALE (Manga) TO MALE (Anime)?!?!?!?!?!?!

It was just an artistic descision made দ্বারা the অ্যানিমেশন team. Takeuchi actually did not approve of it.

I'm not sure, but I think they changed that for disguises because thats what they did in the anime.
