Makoto is at the start just a boy who fell in love in some random girl in train... u know how his friend Sekai helped him and fell in love with him too. That is the start when he becomes chauvinist pig. He was just perverted boy, as almost all of us are, who wanted to be with girl but he in the end became gigolo... He was desperate for not having sex with some girl, as u can see when those 3 came to his house, he was happy he could get his fix. So he is just too bizarre for me. I am pleased with the end bcs he dies, but I was shocked badly when I saw it. So as my pick says ''give me a break''

Yes, Makoto has done wrong and got addicted with...Smex. But as you know Makoto was not like tha tbefore..all he wanted was to fall in love with the first girl. therefore I never hated him. At the end he realized what he had been doing wrong..and stopped and changed..He chose whatwas right at the end and that was oging back to the first girl....Before he got killed from jelousy.

Well..in some way i fell sorry for him..

He was not a good guy at all. He was a sex addict and treated everyone like crap. He ordered Sekai to get an abortion so he could be with Katsura. He messed with people's emotions and didn't care. Look, Sekai was obsessed with him. But Makoto treated all the women in this anime like crap. And what Katsura did to Sekai? That was above and beyond twisted. The girl didn't care who she hurt as long as she could be with Makoto. And Sekai didn't want Makoto to be with Katsura so she killed him. Both girls were crazy, but Katsura was the scarier one, since she was so cold and emotionless when she did what she did.

He seemed like a nice guy in the first few episodes, before he became a crazy sex obsessed perv who didn't care about any of the girls feelings, as long as he got pussy. He deserved the brutal death he got.

One of the worst if not THE worst Protagonist I have ever seen honestly. There might be some few redeemable aspects (mainly outside the Anime) but they are not nearly enough to excuse him for me. Like I can relate to some aspects of his just like Shwele also pointed out and can understand certain ways of thinking and intentions but the actions are what make all the difference. In the end, I cannot see him being anything else other than a selfish jerk !!!!
