Mina's POV;
I snapped my eyes open, and for a second, just lay there. Soft breathing sounds behind me. i close my eyes again, and snuggle up against my ebony prince. It was a warm spring day, amd with the অনুরাগী blowing on us slightly, I couldn't imagine a place better than this.
I sighed and closed my eyes. I wasn't tired, but my eyes drooped down anyway and surrounded me into nothing but darkness.

Sunlight shined in my eyes as I woke up once more. The side of the বিছানা was cold, and I started to seek Shadow's warmth.
When I finally started waking up for real, I noticed a small note on the side of my dresser. It read;
Out with Scourge, be back soon.
I yawned and got up. Walking downstairs, I noticed Hundson and Slavka eating their food. Tony was there, too, with his girlfriend. I nodded a greeting and stumbled into the kitchen, pouring কমলা রস and grabbing a doughnut. I sat down and ate. Now that Shadow was gone, I didn't have anything to do besides to call JayCee, but she was usually busy.
I called her anyway.
"This is JayCee."
"Hey Jay!" I said, releived that she was in the house. "What's up?"
"Ah, nothing...." She trailed off, and her voice dropped low.
"A-anything wrong?"
"I'm fine," she almost snapped back. Her voice softened. "Just some... drama."
"Well, do I have something to tell you," I purred.
"And what is that?"
"Shadow and I are going out."
She was silent for a munite. "Seriously?"
"Mmm hmmm."
"Well, congrats," she said, and I imagined her smile.
"Do আপনি want to come over?" I asked.
"Sure, I'll be over there in a little bit."
I smiled. I haven't seen JayCee in a while, but this was a--
"Wait!" she cried. "Did আপনি say আপনি and Shadow...?"
"Yeah."
She was quiet for a minute. Then she laughed. "He's just going to play আপনি like he always does," she says. "You're going to be heartbroken in a matter of days."
I blush slightly. "No he isn't!" Why was JayCee অভিনয় like this? Was she jealous? I shook my head. Maybe something was wrong.
"Is it something with আপনি and Scourge?"
A growl excaped her throat. "I'll be over soon," she spat, and hung up.
