This is news which might make all Bollywood fans rise from their seats and rejoice. Two of Bollywood's biggest icons Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan seems to be forgetting their differences and moving towards becoming friends again. The two stars who were seen during the premier of Aamir Khan's 3 Idiots seems to be willing to call a mutual and dignified truce. Although the two stars haven't formallyannounced burying the past there are enough signs for others to see.
Salman extended the olive branch when he called up Karan Johar to say that he had liked the promos of his movie My Name Is Khan which stars Shahrukh Khan. This when Salman is busy promoting his movie Veer. Karan who is known to be very close to Shahrukh said its was very gracious of Salman to call him up and he appreciate the feedback. Karan added that he had worked with Salman in his first movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and has great amount of respect for Salman and his family.


Shahrukh Khan on the other hand isn't someone to be left behind. He returned Salman's gesture by praising Veer and saying that it was one of the films he was looking forward to seeing this year. Now that is enough indication that the two stars have become tired of their strained relationship which had started at Katrina Kaif's birthday bash in 2008. Their feud had threatened to divide the Bollywood into two camps. Since then the two stars have avoided each other at public functions and not stopped short of taking digs at each other.

The start of a new year seems to have brought in some fresh hope for reconciliation between the two giants of Bollywood. If Salman and Shahrukh shake hands again this will certainly be the patch up of the decade for Bollywood.
