Micks sat in the বৃক্ষ alone. She fiddled her thumb and her pointer finger together. Her eyes filled with worry as if Jake wouldn't come to see her. They hung out secretly. If Lily অথবা Courage found out, she'd parish. They were outcasts of Team স্বর্ণ (Explain that...later).
"Micks?" a familiar voice called up.
Her blue eyes searched downward. "Jake?" She smiled. "Jake!" She grinned happily.
Jake climbed up easily. His ear flicked as she kissed his cheek.
"Hey," he mewed.
"Hey," she said, still smiling. He sat down on the branch. Leaning against his side, Micks sighed. "How was your day?" he asked.
"Busy. You?"
"It was alright," he answered. His green eyes searching hers.
Micks and Jake watched the sunset. As the sun went down all the way and the moon rose. Jake and Micks turned to each other.
Jake lied his hand on Micks' cheek. She put her hand over his, smiling. Their faces were so close to each other, yet so far away.
Micks felt Jake moving closer. Without thinking, they kissed tenderly. Micks blushed with excitement as it finally happened.
Pulling away, they were both silent, too happy to say anything more.
"Jake the Cat?" Micks finally broke the silence. She was barely breathing.
"Micks the Hedgebat," he replied.
"Would আপনি ever...leave me?" Micks asked quietly.
Jake sighed. His green eyes bright, sparkling like the stars did above them. A wishing তারকা washed past through the other stars.
"No, I wouldn't," he replied, smiling. Micks looked deeper into his eyes.
"Really?"
"Really, really."
Micks leaned up against his side.
"I wouldn't leave your side," Micks added silently to herself.
"I know," Jake said, hearing her.
