Chapter Thirteen: The পরবর্তি File part one: Crowds
Location: Phantis File H.Q., Lexistropolis
Date: Saturday, December 16th 4337
Time: 9:40 A.M.

“Y’know when I’m told that we are about to go find some শীর্ষ secret file that can cause the destruction of the world অথবা something, I would expect people to be up and here a bit আরো early.” Tess complained, as she and her brother continued to wait for the other members, outside of the base.
“You do realize that আপনি *yawn* are the only person in existence আপনি always acts like you’re on steroids twenty-four-seven, right?” Zen teased. “PEOPLE ARE TIRED!!!!”
“SO WHAT?!?!” Tess exclaimed. “THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!”
“Could আপনি please keep it down?!” Lizzy angrily pleaded, opening the hatch door, and in turn freaking the two chameleons out.
“WHY DO আপনি KEEP DOING THAT!?!?!?!?!” Tess yelled. “Every time I turn around YOU’RE THERE SCARING ME HALF TO DEATH!!!!”
“Hey forbid I hear আপনি say something like ‘Oh sorry Lizzy. Didn’t see আপনি there” Lizzy ব্যক্ত angrily. “Like I was trying to scare you.”
“Welll… wait a minute,” Tess paused, “Why are আপনি in there? I thought আপনি loved to sleep in. I was about to go to your house to wake আপনি up.”
“I slept here for the night.” Lizzy explained.
“But wouldn’t your parents care?” Zen suggested.
“My parents? Care?” Lizzy chuckled. “As if. Their probably happy that I’m gone.”
“Don’t say that.” Tess protested. “I doubt they would care that little about your wellbeing.”

Back at Lizzy’s house…

“We’re beginning a খুঁজুন in your daughter’s room as we speak Mrs. Eventide.” The police Chief informed, as he and his men started their খুঁজুন for Lizzy. “We apologize for the delay. There was a major crisis downtown, and all of our officers had to be sent down there. Some are still there, fixing the problem.”
“Thank আপনি Chief Lerrik.” Mrs. Eventide thanked. “Your line of work must be difficult.”
“It’s what we do.” The chief reassured. “Shall we continue this inside?”
“Please!” Mr. Eventide said, getting into the conversation. The three adults walked into the living room, and then up the hallway stairs, until reaching Lizzy’s room.
“Not a very pleasant girl I’d imagine.” Chief Lerrik hinted, pointing to Lizzy’s door, which had the words “Parents die”, written on the front. “Is there anything আপনি can tell us about where she might have gone?”
“Well her grandfather has approached her on multiple occasions.” Mrs. Eventide said. “She might have visited him, even though we had to file a restriction suit against him, due to his… line of work.”
“Can আপনি write down his address for us please?” The Chief requested.
“Certainly.” Mrs. Eventide cooperated.

In a different area…

In a darkened room, with only a barely visible desk, a cloaked figure enters, through a সহচরী দরজা entrance.

“Sirs!” The figure approached. “I have just received word that a young female-cat-girl who was ব্যক্ত to have unnatural powers, overcame some of our agents, and now has in her possession, a copy of the Phantis file program. I have also heard news from unconfirmed sources that she and three others destroyed the code ‘Home’ base, and achieved information, drawing them nearer to the same information we are looking for. The উৎস had told me that a reporter was also there. This could destroy everything! WE COULD-“
“Calm yourself agent!” A voice from the ডেস্ক ordered. “Our organization already knows of this ‘Lizzy’. She has power able to unlock our goal, so we will not do anything to her. However, this reporter does present a problem, but until we hear otherwise from broadcast, she is not a threat.”
“Is there anything else to report?” Another voice asked.
“Yes sirs.” The informant replied. “Project Trojan is almost regenerated, and will be finished near the end of this year. Also we have narrowed down our file খুঁজুন twelve to a কেবিন area, in the Lexistropolis countryside. We are awaiting orders for the agents in that state to সরানো in.”
“All for the clearance of the খুঁজুন of file twelve?” A third voice announced.
“AYE!” Two others responded.
“Clearance granted.” The third voice answered.

The informant rushed out of the room, then sent a text through his cellphone, to another agent, who quickly took on the mission. The informant started to walk down a white-colored hallway, and was about to make a turn, when he felt someone grab him দ্বারা the back, and cover his mouth.

He was pulled back, into a shadowy corner, then the person who had taken him ব্যক্ত “Where did আপনি say that twelfth file was?”

Back at Knothole…

“Finally, everybody is here!!” Tess exclaimed in relief. “What took আপনি guys so long?!”
“Sleep.” Chells answered. “Traffic.” Nick answered. “Forgetfulness.” Siera added.
“Why do I bother?” Tess sighed. “Do we have everything we need?”
“I think so.” Lizzy responded. “Tasers?”
“Check!” Nick responded.
“Team outfits?”
“Check!” Siera answered. “Well mostly check. I still didn’t finish the others. Sorry.”
“I think I’ll be fine with my normal attire if that’s alright with everyone else.” Chells suggested.
“Fine. Car?” Lizzy said.
“Check.” Nick responded.
“How আপনি got permission for that we’ll never know.” Chells commented.
“I think we’re ready.” Lizzy announced. The five members of the team codenamed “Phantis File”, walked into the cars, and started off to the প্রথমপাতা of Davilic Eventide.

As they entered the neighborhood of Lenin Street, they were shocked to find an almost entire police unit there, surrounding Lizzy’s Grandfather’s cabin. Lizzy watched as her grandfather was being led away into a police vehicle.

The flustered feline took her dagger out of her newly made belt, and started to ghost out of the car when Chells reached over, and pulled her back, her non-ghosted arm. “LET GO OF ME!!!” Lizzy demanded. “THAT’S MY GRANDFATHER!!!!!!!! I HAVE TO HELP HIM!!!!”
“No আপনি don’t.” Chells corrected. “He’s being arrested. Not killed.”
“SO WHAT!??!” Lizzy exclaimed. “We… we won’t even be able to get inside the কেবিন without his help!!”
“Or you’re just saying that because আপনি want him free really bad, even though there’s a key under the house mat.” Chells suggested.
“IT’S HIS HOUSE!!!!” Lizzy informed. “I’M NOT JUST GONNA LET আপনি GUYS STORM IN THERE, AND TRASH THROUGH HIS STUFF!!!!”
“Fine!” Chells yelled back. “We’ll খুঁজুন the outside, then we’ll call him and ask if we can খুঁজুন for it. Okay??”
“… Fine…” Lizzy grumbled. “But how are we going to get in there with all those cops around, genius?”
“About half of them are about to leave.” Chells informed. “And the rest of them are going to check the outside first. They’ll be around there for about an hour, until coming inside, which we can’t have. If they find the file, we’ll be out of time… which also means we might not be able to ask your grandpa for permission.”
“And of course, you, captain physic, know this already.” Lizzy sarcastically noted.
“Yes I do.” Chells blankly responded. “You of all people should know about the abnormal.”
Lizzy was speechless. The only thing passing through her mind was “How does he know?” Instead, of saying this of course, she asked “What do আপনি mean?” Trying to sound calm.
“You are always holding a knife, আপনি are never with your parents, and আপনি got that energy surge that destroyed the base.” Chells blurted out. “You weren’t the only one *affected দ্বারা the magic.” *Chapter nine through ten*
“What is he talking about? Effected দ্বারা what?” Siera asked.
“Lizzy Chells Zen and me went on a mission a while ago, and found a big base being controlled দ্বারা the NEW LEGION.” Tess explained. “Only Chells and Lizzy went in. Chells told us that they found some চার্মড্‌ bookshelf thing, and made Lizzy start to explode with energy, and make Chells disappear about a mile away. Then he came back and was able to put Lizzy back to normal. I guess he got something on him too.”
“I can see futuristic visions.” Chells explained. “Lizzy’s power-blast was sudden, but large, while mine is long but small. It will probably wear off in a month. Now let’s get moving out there please!”
“No!” Lizzy protested. “You go break in, but I’m not being a part of it!”
“Then stand guard.” Chells suggested, as the rest of Lizzy’s team walked out. “We really shouldn’t let our emotions take over Lizzy.”
“… What did আপনি say?” Lizzy asked in surprise.
“You shouldn’t rely on emotions?” Chells repeated, slightly confused.
“Where did আপনি learn that?” Lizzy asked.
“Over the years… can I go now?” Chells asked anxiously.
“… Huh? Oh… sure.” Lizzy answered, turning to her thoughts, as the four others neared the house.

Between the কেবিন of their goal and a neighbor’s cabin, there was a large fence, over-grown with morning-glories. Chells signaled them to hide behind it, then looked over the fence, to see how many guards to look for.

There was one police-woman in a car in front of the cabin, one positioned at the door, two searching through the backyard, and three in the front yard. “How do we get in Chells?” Nick asked.

“Do we have a camera?” Chells asked.
“Right here!” Siera whispered, handing Chells a large digital camera.
“Does it take good pictures?” Chells asked.
“Obviously… why?” Siera said, confused দ্বারা the question.
“Hmmm… does anybody have people skills?” Chells asked. Everyone stared at him confused, then Tess raised her hand cheerfully. “Here’s what you’re gonna tell them…”
Two মিনিট later…
“Um excuse me.” Tess greeted, walking up to the group of police officers.
“Sorry, kid, we have a possible kid-napping to look into, about the Eventide girl. Do আপনি know her?” The door-blocking officer informed.
“Maybe, but can I ask আপনি something just really quick?” Tess asked, trying to look naïve and innocent.
“What?” The slightly annoyed officer inquired.
“My friend Siera is doing a giant প্রতিবেদন on the community workers in Westside Lexistropolis,” Tess fibbed, “and she wanted me to help her with the police part. I just wanted to ask আপনি প্রশ্ন and take some pictures, and I promise I’ll stay put when I’m told, and I won’t write down, অথবা take ছবি of what I shouldn’t.”
“I’m sure our chief would be flattered, but really are busy. Sorry.” The cop apologized. “Now if আপনি had any useful-“
“That’s the পরবর্তি part of my idea for আপনি guys.” Tess interrupted. “You see, me and my brother Zen were the first people Lizzy met, and her closest friends. We know almost everything about her. Even about her dagger.”
“So you’re part of the gang called Phallis File.” The cop cringed
“Gang?” Tess jumped back. “It isn’t a gang, and we call it… Fall-in-line. It’s another thing my friend Siera came up with, and the reason I’m getting the information. There’s only five of us, and we aren’t a gang. One of our members is blind even.”
“So what are you?” The police officer asked.
“We’re a surprise for the school. Our member Nick came up with the idea of doing a different community service each week. This week is a tribute to the people of the community, and পরবর্তি week we’re gonna clean up lots, and allies, and stuff.”
“And what about the knife?” The cop asked.
“Before I answer that, can I get a picture of all আপনি guys, really quick, leaned up on the car, backs to the house? It would look so cool, to have the biggest কেবিন in the background.” Tess lied.
“Heh, sure.” The officer agreed, starting to warm up to the rosy cheeked distraction. The officers all lined up পরবর্তি to each other, and Tess took the picture, while the others slipped inside the house.
“So, why does she have a knife?” The officer asked.
“Well first of all the ছুরি isn’t even very sharp.” Tess started. “Second it’s just an heirloom that she got from…

The four others immediately began searching the house for the পরবর্তি file. This would prove difficult however. When Tess meant biggest cabin, she meant it. Lizzy’s rich grandfather was filthy rich. His কেবিন was almost as large as a mansion. It had two stories, which were each a story apart in height, with seven different rooms on the bottom, and five on the top, not including the giant magery practice room.

“How did আপনি come up with all that Chells?” Nick asked.
“I’m smart.” Chells responded. “I’m আরো surprised on how well Tess did. Remind Siera to do everything I told her to say.” Speaking of Siera…
“Hey guys! Zen and I found a basement I think. আপনি think it could have been there?” Siera informed.
“Let me check.” Zen said, calling Lizzy’s cellphone.
“Yeah?” Lizzy answered.
“Where would the file be?” Zen asked, walking back to the doorway.
“Well I think it would be deep underground.” Lizzy answered.
“And how do আপনি know this again?” Zen asked.
“I… kinda had a vision of where the echidna girl put it just before… dying I think.” Lizzy nervously responded.
“Of course আপনি did.” Zen sighed, rolling his eyes. “Okay call আপনি soon. Oh wait. What is Tess doing right now?”
“Well it looks like she’s going into the backyard, which only has an entrance at the far end, so it will be a while until they can get in through there.”
“Okay then.” Zen finished, hanging up. “Guys! She ব্যক্ত deep underground! So yeah, the basement! I’ll stay here and watch the door!”
“Got it!” Siera responded, as Chells and Nick entered the basement. “I am so glad this place is part greenhouse, অথবা we’d be in so much trouble and pain pulling out the floor-boards and stuff.”
“But it’s still a lot of area to cover.” Nick imputed. “And while we do have an hour, it’s deep underground. We’d probably only have enough time for two holes.”
“Make it one.” Chells ordered, pointing to a spot in the soil.
“What? Did আপনি see a vision of the location?” Nick asked.
“No, but I do see a bunch of circles.” Chells corrected. “If আপনি look closely, they get smaller as they get closer to this one point.” Chells stood on the spot he talked of.
“Then start digging!” Siera ordered.
“You do mean ‘Let’s start digging’ right?” Nick commented.
“And get my clothes filthy?” Siera prissily withdrew. “No thank you!”
“Then why don’t আপনি go guard the backdoor?!” Chells suggested, getting ticked off, as he picked up a shovel.

Meanwhile…

“Sir, I have reached the location, but it is being guarded দ্বারা local police.” The Legion agent informed “Do I eliminate them?”
“Are there any witnesses?” A voice asked on the other line.
“there is a mini-van close to the house, but I do not see anyone inside it.” The agent replied.
“What does it look like?” The superior asked. The agent took a picture of the car, then sent it to the other agent. “Stay where আপনি are.”
“Sir?” The agent said, confused দ্বারা the order.
“We are going to wait for them to come out of the house with our file, then take them down.” The other person explained. “I am sending back-up to you.”
“I can take on a few teenagers Sir.” The agent said.
“Ah, but one of those teenagers can take seven of you.” The voice added. “Don’t be seen until they come back out. They probably won’t go out of the house until the police leave, so be patient, then take them out quickly, when they start to leave.”

At the police station…

“Officer, I believe that there must have been a mistake.” Davilic Eventide defended, as he was interrogated. “I haven’t seen my granddaughter almost a মাস at least. And I didn’t tell her to come to my house when she did.”
“So what did আপনি do?” The chief asked.
“I let her come in, gave her a soda, then drove her home.” The grandfather admitted, *leaving out the middle. *Chapter three*
“Her parents say otherwise.” Chief Lenik pointed out. “They claim that আপনি see her regularly, and have influenced her, অথবা even kidnapped. That’s a very long time in jail. So unless আপনি have even আরো proof that she’s not at your home, you’re not going anywhere.”
“Don’t আপনি mean ‘not without my layer’?” Davilic corrected. “I know my rights, and আপনি have nothing to keep me here, but the assumption that I kidnapped my granddaughter, of which the উৎস of this information was, was the parents she ran away from. Now if আপনি don’t mind I would like to make a phone-call to her cellphone, to prove my innocence further.”

Elder Eventide exited the questioning room, and walked over to a department phone, where he called Lizzy’s cell.

“Uh, hi Grandpa.” Lizzy nervously answered.
“Hello Lizzy. I’m in a bit of a predicament.” Davilic started. “Where are আপনি exactly?”
“I’m in Tess and Zen’s van, in front of your house. Why did they arrest you!?” Lizzy informed, getting a bit worried.
“Don’t worry about me.” Davilic reassured. “Thank আপনি for the information. Goodbye.”
“Well?” The Chief anxiously pressed.
“She is নিরাপদ and sound. I suggest আপনি check her house a bit আরো thoroughly.” Grandfather Eventide suggested. “And আপনি might not want her parents to know that আপনি are there.”

Meanwhile, inside the cabin…

“I FOUND IT!!!!!!!” Nick yelled out. He brushed away some dirt, and picked up a small orb-shaped meteor-like object. He pried it open and saw a large memory card inside it. The পরবর্তি file was found. The শিরোনাম consisted of one word. “Enerjak”.















Lizzy story Chapter Thirteen: The পরবর্তি File part two: Escape
Location: 61st Lenin St. Lexistropolis country side
Date: Saturday, December 16th 4337
Time: 11:23 A.M.

“Enerjak?” Siera read. “What does that mean?”
“Why don’t আপনি ask the same person that made the name ‘Phantis’?” Chells teased. “In the meantime, we have company if we don’t hurry out of here.”
“Fine. Le… wait a minute.” Siera paused. “Name? How do আপনি know Phantis is a name?”
“Because it’s the name of the file.” Chells responded, stating the obvious. “Why?”
“Never mind. Let’s go.” Siera finished, walking out to the front door.
“Wait a minute.” Zen cautioned. “Lizzy ব্যক্ত that they were still in the front, and slowly moving to the back, so we should probably go out the back door.”
“Good idea.” Chells complimented. “Now hurrying has become a better idea.”

They started through the hallway, and ended up not at the back-door, but at two other hallways. Both turned to a different direction, so none of them could see which one went where.

“Siera and Nick, two go through the left, while I take Zen through the right.” Chells ordered.
“Way to take the lead, blind-by.” Siera teased. “Who made আপনি the leader?”
“The one who made the plan of how to get in there undetected, find the file, and doesn’t wear heels when about to most likely run.” Chells informed. “Go!”
Chells and Zen started through the right hallway, while Siera and Nick just stood there, Nick out of confusion, and Siera out of spite. “WHAT IS WRONG WITH THAT GUY?!!” Siera groaned.
“He probably had a bad puberty অথবা went grumpy when he হারিয়ে গেছে his vision, অথবা something.” Nick supposed. “But mean অথবা rainbow-sunshine, he’s right about going.” Siera gave a large groan, then followed her “partner”.

Outside the cabin…

“So it was her parents that were abusing her?” A police officer asked Tess, as they walked through the side of the cabin.
“When Zen tried to talk to her she ব্যক্ত something about how she ‘lost her innocence when her parents took something she held dear away’, and I seriously doubt it was drugs.” Tess replied.
“And why didn’t she stay home?” The officer inquired.
“Well, while we were driving over,” Tess explained, “she ব্যক্ত that they were going to starve her, because she was late getting home.”
“Driving over?” The officer noticed.
“Yeah… driving over to… the school.” Tess fibbed. “We forgot to talk to the teachers, so we tried to get back there in time… we didn’t. Total gas waste.”
“And why was she late getting home?” He questioned.
“We were setting up our meeting, and we accidentally talked almost into the night.” Tess fibbed. “But she hadn’t driven over, so she had to walk back, and was late because of it.”
In a black অগ্রদূত near the cabin…
“Sir, the cops aren’t leaving.” A “New Legion” agent informed through a cellphone.
“If they do not exit soon, আপনি are clear to engage, but do it quickly and stealthily.” The other line answered.
“Understood,” The agent acknowledged, “but what should I do about the other van?”
“Make it quick.” The superior ordered. The agent got out of his van, then walked to the back of it, and opened up the backdoor. Inside lay at least ten different types of fire-arms. But among the large variety he chose a strange looking revolver-like gun.

The frontal tube had overlapping layers, each with a different color going from red to brown to black to dark blue. The revolving area was not circular but square, with four wires at the bottom, the same রঙ as the tubes. The agent prepped his weapon, then started towards Lizzy’s mii-van.

On Zen’s end…

“Hello?” Zen said, answering his cellphone
“Zen, I need আপনি guys to hurry.” Lizzy quickly pressed.
“Why?” Zen asked.
“Just do it!” Lizzy yelled into her cell. “One of those agent guys is coming over to the van, and I don’t want him to-“
“… Lizzy?” Zen said, slightly confused. He tucked his cell back into his pocket, then continued running. “Lizzy just called. She ব্যক্ত that one of the agent guys is coming near her. Time to hurry!”
Simultaneously with the end of Zen’s informing, he and Chells had made their way to the end of the hallway, and in front of them was the backyard. “I’ll call Nick, and tell him.” Zen proposed. After he had made the call, they ran out the door, and began to turn to the right, as to get to the car through the quickest route, but instead of a clear path, they were blocked দ্বারা Tess and the officer, who were coming their way.
“Thank আপনি Tess.” The officer said, as he and she continued down the side-path. “Can আপনি get me the names of the other members?”
“Sure but…” Tess paused for a moment, looking forward, and then noticing Chells and Zen jump back behind the back wall, just in time for Tess to turn to her left side and exclaim “THE CAR!!!!!”

The officer jerked to the side, and also noticed that the মিনিভ্যান was now going up the hill, flinging snow in every direction. On the side of the car, holding on for dear life, was the Legion agent, with his weapon still in hand. The cop rushed back to the front, calling for the others to follow through his com-link.

Tess ran over to where Chells and Zen were, just as two very tired Nick and Sieras’ rushed out. “HOW DID THE LEGION PEOPLE GET HERE SO STINKING QUICK?!!!” Tess exclaimed.

“They have money.” Chells stated, as if the answer was obvious. “The প্রশ্ন আপনি should be asking is ‘how do we catch up with Lizzy’, of which the answer is FOLLOW ME!!!!” Chells charged to the backside of the backyard, accidentally flinging snow in Zen’s face, until at the gate, which separated the wood/plain land from the backyard.

Chells immediately began climbing up the metallic fence, and had already made it over, and was already running towards Lizzy, when the others had finally made it to the fence. They called out for him to stop, but he seemed to not hear them.

As Lizzy was still attempting to shake the attacker, she also saw Chells’s actions, and noticed something quite strange. He was moving আরো strong, flexible, and quicker than any normal hybrid could. However, she had also noticed that the police vehicle was now in pursuit of the mini-van, as well as was closing in.

The agent forced himself to turn the other direction, and began shooting at the police’s tires, and succeeded in doing so. The car slowed, screeching painfully, until coming to a stop. After it had stopped it then began sliding backward, due to the semi-melted ice under it. As Chells was running towards the mini-van he noticed this, and began running towards the police car instead.

While Chells became otherwise occupied, the others were still running towards the car, at that point, and were slowly approaching a small camping site. There was a toll-booth in front of it, but instead of guards, there was a sign which read “Warning. Closed due to snow.”

Lizzy slammed on the brakes, in an attempt to not wreak Tess and Zen’s family car, which in turn sent her and the agent flying forward. Lizzy quickly ghosted out, still landing hard on her feet, in the knee-deep snow, while the agent spread out his hands, which sent a sound-wave into the snow, cushioning his fall.

The agent clutched his weapon tightly, pressed a small button-like area on his gun, and the black tube stretched out in front of the others. He then began firing repeatedly at Lizzy, with what seemed to be normal bullets. The three four others ran over to the battle scene, attempting sneak behind and over-power the attacker. Lizzy attempted to dodge the bullets without using her abilities in front of the others as best she could without getting shot, but there was no way she could have it both ways. It was either “Risk your secret to people আপনি don’t know well”, অথবা “get shot and/or die”

The agent fired his weapon aiming specifically for the right side of Lizzy’s ribcage, but instead of passing through with blood streaking across it, it simply passed through. Nick and Siera gapped in astonishment at Lizzy’s invulnerability, while Tess and Zen threw their faces into the snow groaning.

Regaining her stance, Lizzy gave a large sigh of sorrow, then charged অগ্রবর্তী at the agent, knocking him to the ground. The agent regained his stance as well, then instead of firing again, he pressed a সেকেন্ড button on his gun, different from the first, sending the red tube outward. Finally, he began firing again, but instead of bullets, he was now shooting out a red laser-like energy, which clashed right into Lizzy’s stomach.

The energy beam sent her flying back, into a telephone pole, which fell on শীর্ষ of her, knocking her out. The agent then turned his gun back to bullet mode, and began firing on Lizzy’s allies. They all jumped out of the firing range, behind a large fire-pit, while the attacker continued to আগুন at them, running closer with each shot.

As he almost approached the sheltered party, Nick jumped to the side of the fire-pit, and shot his taser at the agent, just as the agent shot a bullet at him. Both the taser and the bullet got caught up in an electrical power-surge, which electrocuted Nick, until he had passed out from the pain.

The agent then turned his gun to the brown power, just before completely destroying the fire-pit, and sending those behind it backward, face-down in the snow. The agent set his weapon one last time to bullet mode, and fired at Tess.

The bullet was stopped. Before anyone could look to see what had happened, something stopped the bullet in mid-air, and decimated it. The agent began to আগুন a সেকেন্ড time, but before he could even pull back the trigger, and giant electrical waved shot him backwards.

The hit damaged the agent, but not as much as thought. The electrical connection should have fried him, but it seemed that he was wearing a special armor of sorts, and had already regained his posture. Finally, instead of using his gun, he pulled out a small cube from his person, and threw it to the floor.

Another electrical surge, sent the cube flying backward into a group of trees. As expected, the person who had shot it, was Lizzy, who had completely absorbed the electrical power, coming from the telephone pole. She rushed অগ্রবর্তী at the agent, just as the others had gotten out from the snow, but instead of meeting her first with his skull, whatever the cube was intervened.

A now ten-foot-tall Mecha-bot, punched Lizzy in the face, with its giant first, sending her to the floor. Before she could regain her stance, the robot grabbed her দ্বারা the arm, then began hitting her against various objects.

“Get OW!!! The- UGH!! AGENT!!!!!” Lizzy yelled out to the others, as she was continuously sent into various structures. While the others stays down, Tess ran forward, and attempted to get passed the robot. The bot was unable to notice her presence, giving her the opportunity to slide underneath him, and attempt to get to the agent.

She began running after the agent, who was now trying to escape, while at the same time calling… for back-up. Tess tackled the agent from behind, pressing hard on his face, in hopes of knocking him out in the snow. She succeeded, but had bounced off him from the impact of the ground, and was sent into a spinning motion, until landing her backside hard on the snow/street.

Once Tess was finally clear, Lizzy yanked herself free from the bot, then shot a giant electrical surge at his head, obliterating the robot’s circuits, thus killing it. The slightly injured cat-girl then gave a large kick to the robot’s chest, sending it once again into the trees, she originally kicked it into.

Nick and Zen ran up to her, Siera cautiously approached, and Tess slowly made her way back, dragging the unconscious agent with her. But something was missing. Where was Chells? Was he crushed দ্বারা the police car? Did he somehow manage to stop it in time? No one noticed, অথবা knew.

Lizzy sent the electrical current into the air, defusing from the energy, just in time to hear Nick and Siera yell “WHAT” and “HOW” and “WHAT AND HOW”.
“It’s a long story.” Zen groaned.
“Y-Y-YOU KNEW ABOUT THIS!?!?!?!” Siera yelled
“Hey! Me and Tess only found out about this a... couple of weeks ago…” Zen slowly faded out.
“Sorry for not telling you?” Tess apologized, dropping the agent on the ground.
“And neither of আপনি are going to tell anyone.” Lizzy hinted angrily
“Says WHO!?!?” Siera exclaimed.
Lizzy yanked out her dagger and pointed it directly at Siera, then replied with “Me. I just saved your lives, so don’t think it will be hard taking them. আপনি owe me for saving you, therefore আপনি won’t tell ANYONE!!!”
“I… u-…” Siera stood there blankly, just as Nick. They had no idea what to say. They couldn’t tell anyone অথবা Lizzy might actually kill them, অথবা at least try too, but it they didn’t… they would be in so much trouble when someone did find out, and someone would find found, someday.
“Just wait until tomorrow, to figure out what to decide, please?!” Zen pleaded.
“… I’ll try.” Siera replied.
“Well I’m not telling anyone!” Nick informed. “Like I want those agent people after me two! If they don’t care about the cops, they probably care less about us.”
“Really Nick?” Lizzy sarcastically said. “I had no idea. Cause one of the agents wasn’t trying to kill everyone, just a মিনিট ago!”
“Lizzy…” Zen said. “You don’t have to get so mouthy about it. আপনি sound like… wait a minute… where is Chells?”
They all turned to the road, to see if the blind was coming up. He wasn’t. “Can আপনি go look for him Nick?” Zen asked.
“*sigh*… be right back.” Nick replied, as he started running down the hill.
“Uh oh… uh, guys?” Tess said. “Before I could stop the agent… I think that he might of called somebody…”
“OH GREAT!!!!!” Lizzy sarcastically exclaimed. “Right when Nick-dude went off down the hill! UGH!!! Can আপনি wake him our giant blob of trouble?”
Tess nudged the agent, but he didn’t rouse. “I kind of forcefully knocked his face into the floor, to get him to pass out… is that bad?” Tess cringed.
“I’m surprised he’s still alive!” Siera remarked. “Hang on… why is he alive? ... Come to think of it, his *face* isn’t even bloody.” *all the agents are echidnas, and this agents mask was ripped off in the battle*
“Must be a steroid of something.” Tess suggested.
“Maybe… let’s give him a minute, before questioning him.” Lizzy calmly ordered.
“HOW CAN আপনি BE SO CALM!!!!!?!?!?” Siera screeched.
“We’re… used… to it?” Tess answered, trying to sound funny.
“I’m not used to it!” Siera pointed out. “Nick isn’t used to it, and I doubt even Chells was, right before jumping after a mad car! He’s probably dead now!!!”
“No. He’s not dead. I’m sure of it.” Lizzy corrected, pondering to herself.
“What makes আপনি so sure?” Tess asked.
*“When we got into that base, a whole bunch of agents and giant robots started attacking us.” Lizzy explained. “I was still trying to figure out the bookshelf puzzle, and had him try to distract them. When I went out to check, they were all either dead, অথবা beaten. He was able to beat all of them, without a scratch. When I asked, he ব্যক্ত that he had his secrets and I had mine, which made me think that he probably knew about my powers already… somehow.* *This mini-adventure occurred in chapter nine* Then I looked over and saw him chasing after the van, and he was way ahead of আপনি guys, and still going full throttle.”
“Maybe he’s the Cyclist guy in disguise.” Zen suggested. “That dude looks like some kind of wacko.”
“No, he’s not Cyclist.” Lizzy dismissed. “I remembered seeing something in the back of the মিনিভ্যান while we were *chasing after that one agent, a while back. *Chapter six* Now that I think about it, it looked a lot like a person, Chells did say he was hiding in there. And we all heard him *trying to get out of the bathroom in Knothole, while Cyclist was there. *Chapter twelve* But whatever that guy is, he isn’t natural.”
“And আপনি are?” Siera teased.
“I seriously doubt that Chells is some super-soldier, who rides motorcycles, and lunges into danger.” Zen noted. “If he tried to lunge at anything, his glasses who probably fly off.”
“It’s still possible, Zen.” Lizzy defended
“I still seriously doubt it.” Zen replied. Lizzy tried hard not to reach for her knife, while glaring at her unbelieving ally.
“L-let’s just please stay calm.” Tess pleaded, sensing that nerves would soon be struck. “We should just go get Nick, get in the van, then go.”
“Not before I get some info from this guy.” Lizzy corrected, pointing to the agent.

They stood there waiting for about two minutes, each of them getting quite frigid. Finally, Lizzy had হারিয়ে গেছে her patience and gave the agent nice big a slap to the face. It woke him up. The agent jumped upward,
and tried to run away, but instead ran straight into the mini-van, making him fall backward onto the floor.
“We’ve got some প্রশ্ন for আপনি Bub.” Lizzy informed, leaning over the captive. The agent ignored her hint, and reached for something on a বেল্ট he was wearing. Lizzy grabbed his hand, but the other hand was still free. He quickly reached over and pressed a small button on his belt, then a large flash of light shot out, and he was gone.

Lizzy and the others turned all directions, but didn’t see him anywhere. “WHERE ARE YOU!!??” She yelled out, angered দ্বারা the disappearance.

“Lizzy, we really need to go.” Zen informed “Wait a minute… নমস্কার there’s Nick!”. They looked towards the road, and eventually saw their নকুল friend, running frantically towards them, panting heavily.
“Did আপনি find Chells?” Lizzy asked.
“FORGET CHELLS!!! RUN!!!!!!!” Nick signaled for everyone to get in the car, and did so himself.

The others choose to follow suit, but Lizzy, instead, started past the car, just in time to নিশ্চিত her suspicions. Chells was either dead অথবা hiding, because what was in front of Lizzy would have smited him on the spot. An entire army of New Legion agents, with at least ten giant robot agents, and the পূর্ববর্তি agent standing in the front, were ready, aimed, and about to fire.


























Chapter thirteen: The পরবর্তি file Part three: Extra Help
Location: West side of Lexistropolis, Darris Camping grounds
Date: Saturday, December 16th 4337
Time: 3:01 P.M.

Choosing to obey the wise words of their ally, Nick, (of whom his words were one word; “Run”, which, when translated meant “They found us and are going to kill us now, because we’re trapped, but run away anyway, even though there is only a twelve percent chance of survival”. But of course the reason this twelve percent is about to overcome the other two options which are “five percent of giving them the file and surviving”, and “eighty-three percent chance of… death”, is also known as a super-hybrid being who’s recognizable name is of course… Lizzy) the Phantis File team began running into the woods. They would have an advantage for about a moment of two, due to the fact that they were on one end of the mini-van, and the enemy was on the other. Choosing caution over collateral damage, the New Legion ran around the car, in hopes to not wreak in evidence they could later use against their foes,… then began shooting.

After noticing that they were about to be killed, and remembering the function of Zen’s taser, Lizzy called out “ZEN!!!! SHOOT ME!!!” After a quick “ARE আপনি INSA-“ Zen realized the positive outcome, aimed his taser, and shot his feline friend directly in the head, with all three shots.

The energized cat immediately began absorbing the electricity, until she was able to spread the thin amount throughout her entire system. The *once again Lightning Lizzy, shot back to the enemy, then, while noticing that they were grouped together, began to create a giant electric tornado. *Lizzy was in Lightning form briefly in the prior chapter*

The army began to shoot at the energy cyclone, but to Lizzy’s advantage, it simply either bounced off, অথবা bounced in to one of them. They stopped shooting after a very short moment.

Attempting a different line of attack, the New Legion armed themselves with the same type of energy used in their *first physical battle with the feline, as well as from the battle right before this. *Chapter six* They didn’t care to aim, for they knew the outcome, but unfortunately for both them and their opponent, Lizzy did also.

In Lizzy’s lightning form she is able to think much quicker, due to the large amounts of energy going through her. Therefore, she was able to determine what they were loading, and how to stop them. At the precise moment of impact, Lizzy completely switched from her electric form, to the strange red lightning energy being shot at her. The switch would have been very difficult normally, but she was already about to run out, due to the small amount absorbed, and how much she had to use to create the tornado.

Red Lightning Lizzy continued to use her tornado, noticing that her speed did not decrease when absorbing the material, thinking that she would be able to keep them there for a very long amount of time, while the others escaped. She was of course, wrong.

One of the agents gave a strange signal to the giant Legion-bots, which apparently was an order. The robots all grouped together, then at the same time, lunged their arms into the current of the tornado. The impact caused four of the robot’s arms to fly off অথবা be obliterated, leaving the others intact, while Lizzy went through them, through four trees, then into the ground.

Usually it would have killed the heroin, but due to the amount of energy she had, it only drained her of the material, and hurt her greatly. Lizzy forced herself upward, a large dark-grey mark on her arm, and her head smoking from the friction caused দ্বারা the impact of the road. The legion quickly বিভক্ত করা into two groups; one to go after Lizzy’s friends, and one to go after Lizzy. The team surrounded Lizzy in a large circle, while she tried desperately to stand, her face deadly with anger.

She stood there, waiting for them to make the পরবর্তি move, which was in a rather calm way. The agent who had previously battled the feline stepped closer to her and ব্যক্ত in an attractive sounding Scottish voice “We aren’t going to kill you.”

“Then what?” Lizzy growled back.
“For some reason I do not even know,” The agent answered, “we need আপনি alive to finish our plans. We do not, however, need your friends, which is why I am standing here distracting আপনি with a nice long chat.”
“Really?” Lizzy remarked. “We both know that all I have to do is touch you, then I’ll be strong enough to get any of you. I could touch the ground is I wanted.”
“Ah, but আপনি won’t.” The agent corrected. “I’m, how is it said…. “calling your bluff”. If আপনি absorb a material that is not stable enough, my guess is that আপনি will fall apart. However, I know not if this is true, but I wouldn’t want to find out if I were you.”

Lizzy was just about to make another comeback, but for some strange reason, a faint humming sound started emerging from somewhere near her. After a short while of five seconds, she discovered that it was her cellphone. The person calling her was Jack. Lizzy pointed to her phone, now in her hand, and the agent gave her the okay to answer, convinced that she wouldn’t do anything… regrettable.

“Hey Jack.” Lizzy answered, trying to sound calm.
“Hi Lizzy.” Jack replied. “Sorry about this, but Tess just randomly gave me your phone-number, which I know she shouldn’t have, but I kind of thought that, if it was okay, tha-“
“Just tell me!” Lizzy said, sounding irritated.
“I was just wondering if আপনি were okay, and if আপনি wanted to come over somewhere…” Lizzy could practically hear the cringing, which was probably the only reason the poor skunk-boy received pity.
“Where?” Lizzy asked, slightly stressed, but mostly curious.
“Well, me and my band, Templar, are gonna be doing a সঙ্গীতানুষ্ঠান thing at a party for this really rich kid,” Jack informed, “and we wanted, well I wanted to know, i-if আপনি wanted to come over, and I wanted to know if আপনি were okay.”
“I might come to the party, but I’ll have to pass on the feelings for now. Kind of held up at the moment… I should probably go now.” Lizzy said.
“Oh. Okay. Uh, bye.” Jack hung up, then Lizzy turned back to her prior conversation
“If আপনি are finished with your chick-flick, may we return to reality?” The agent asked, insultingly.
“I’m so sorry. Where were we?” Lizzy sarcastically inquired.
“You were going to turn around and start shooting at me, I believe.” A voice called out from behind the attackers. They of course did as such, and as soon as they did the person who owned the voice triumphantly declared “Psychic!” The figure standing there, was Cyclist.
“Took long enough.” Lizzy insulted.
“So আপনি can’t take a simple army all দ্বারা yourself?” Cyclist zapped back.
“Kill the… whatever species he is!!” The agent ordered. The other agents began firing rapidly at Cyclist, who obviously dodged. He jumped upward into the air, at least twenty yards up, then when he came down again, a giant electric shockwave blasted through the middle of the Legion army.

Cyclist charged at the Legion, wielding two electrically charged long-swords, while Lizzy quickly ran into the battle as well. Lizzy ghosted herself, then jumped through a surviving robot, landing inside of its programming. From inside she began to absorb it’s electrical conductivity, but only to a small amount. In her পরবর্তি act Lizzy sent an electrical wave from inside the robot, sending its pieces flying in every direction.

“Cover me!” Lizzy yelled over to Cyclist, as she began sending another wave of electricity to the pieces of the destroyed robot.

Unfortunately, the Legionaries heard Lizzy, and were now shooting all their fire-power in her direction. Cyclist quickly jumped in, and threw four disk-like objects into the air. The objects hovered upward and downward, until they were a giant rectangle stretching from শীর্ষ to bottom. They then began spinning at great speed, around Cyclist and Lizzy. Finally, the disks sent out a white mist-like material, which quickly hardened, around where they were circling, creating a giant hardened wall, blocking all attacks from the legion.

Lizzy gave a large gesture, as if pulling something towards her, and the pieces from the destroyed robot, as well as some of the others, flew inside the barrier, and around Lizzy. For about thirty সেকেন্ড the agents could hear giant booms, and whirs, and screeches, then all was silent.

On the other side of the hill…

The twenty agents chasing Zen Tess Siera and Nick, still firing and gaining speed, had all but reached over and grabbed Tess’s arm. The only reason none of them were shot at this point, was the fact that they were still in a thick wood, which might of proved painful, if the agents were to shoot their heavy guns, while chasing their quick prey.

“TESS LOOK OUT!!!” Nick called behind to Tess, noticing that an agent was about to slice her head off. Tess lunged herself forward, and onto a tree. Using her weak, but still able, chameleon abilities, she ran upward, then jumped into the air. While still in the air, she activated her custom taser, using both sides, then began spinning downward until landing her taser on শীর্ষ of four agents.

The shock was not very affective, due to the hidden armor which the agents were wearing, but it did send them backward. Tess landed hard on her hands and feet, the impact quite painful. The agents recovered, and prepared to আগুন at her.

“TESS!!!!” Nick called out, throwing his taser to her. Tess grabbed the taser, then slammed on the activator. The agents shot at Tess just as she had pressed the button, but in that বিভক্ত করা second, something else activated itself. No one could see where Tess was. She was invisible.

The agents froze, then turned to each other’s backs, in a giant circle, attempting to be as quiet as possible. A small “snap” sounded, near the agents, and they began firing again. Instead of directly at something however, they shot in all directions, while the Phantis File members chose to stay put, searching for Tess with their eyes.

After a few moments, a humming sound arose. But from where no one knew. They soon found out, for the only reason Tess wasn’t attacking yet, was because she was gaining height. Blasting down, a giant spiral of electrical whip-like-shapes shot down on most of the agents. This time they were effected greatly.

The agents were sent out in a giant ring, landing into trees, and rocks. Most of them were not unconscious, while others simply stayed down, due to the pain. They weren’t the only ones. The impact from the ground, as well as the electrical current, hurt her… badly. She laid there, unconscious.

“TESS!!!” The group yelled, as they ran over to their wounded friend. Zen attempted to wake her up, which she did.
“Hey guys.” Tess weakly greeted. “How’s it going?”
“… pretty good.” Siera teased. Zen and Nick slowly lifted Tess up, so she could walk again.
“Is anything broken?” Nick asked in concern.
“I have a major head-ache, and I might have broken my ankle.” Tess replied. “Can we please go home?”
“We should find Lizzy first, then find the car… which is probably totaled.” Zen groaned.
“What about the others?” Siera asked. “They’re probably still there.”

They started to lead Tess back to where Lizzy was last with them, when one of the agents jumped Nick, then quickly গাউন the file, before heading out as fast as his damaged body could carry him. Siera started to run after when but…

“WAIT!!!” Zen ordered. “Tess is hurt, and we need to get back to Lizzy!”
“But he’s got the magic vodo thingy!!!” Siera added.
“Maybe Nick could go after the agent…” Tess said, softly, “Siera could go get Lizzy, and me and Zen could get back to the car.”
“But your hurt! We need to help you!” Nick persuaded.
“Please Nick. He’s getting farther each time we say a word.” Tess pleaded. After a short pause, Nick finally decided to go after the agent. Siera started quickly back to where Lizzy was last seen, then the two chameleons slowly started in the same direction.

Back on Lizzy’s end…

Finally, after almost an entire মিনিট of silence, a giant energy wave shot through the barrier, knocking the agents from their feet. Noticing that the barrier was now gone, the Legion took the advantage and began firing heavily.

Before the ammo could reach the point, a giant robotic figure jumped from it, then charged at the agents. It looked like Lizzy, but much আরো tall, much আরো metallic, and much আরো dangerous. The Mecha Lizzy launched a missile-like object in front of the agents, sending a giant electrical burst. The burst shot through at least ten of the forty legionaries, forcing them into an unconscious state.

The remaining thirty of the original fifty (including the ones before the transformation) spread out into three groups. One group attacked, while one group covered a third group, who seemed to be running away. They weren’t.

Once Lizzy had taken down the offense team, she started rushing towards the others. Cyclist followed her, from behind. As they quickly approached, a giant sound wave shot অগ্রবর্তী at them from their front. Lizzy braced herself, while Cyclist simply stood there. He wasn’t going forward, but he wasn’t going backward either.

Revealing the sound wave’s to be coming from five large tank-like vehicles, which looked a bit আরো like the Bat mobile, it became harder and harder to stay put, as the force became stronger.

Lizzy knelt down to the ground, then started to slowly convert parts of her metallic form into a strange shape. Lizzy had slowly created a crossbow-like shape on the ground. She then converted herself to a smaller lighter metallic form, then launched herself at one of the sound wave beams.

Lizzy shot straight into the beam generator, and had accidentally absorbed a small amount of the sound waves from it. Using this to her advantage, Lizzy converted the energy to her palms, then directed them in front of the other sound waves, now being fired at her.

Using her own sound wave-like abilities, Lizzy was able to reverberate the waves in such a way that it returned to the generators, which were eventually crushed from the pressure. Lizzy continued to do massive damage to the hulls of the tanks, as did Cyclist.

As they were fighting off the remains of the Legionaries, Cyclist heard a faint sound coming from the woods. “LIZZY!!!!” Siera cried out, running and panting towards the heroin.

“Lizzy, the কাঠবিড়ালবিশেষ is calling you!” Cyclist informed.
Lizzy jumped off one of the tanks, as rushed in front of Siera. “Kind of busy right now.” Lizzy hinted.
“One of the agents has the file, and Nick is chasing after him.” Siera in informed. “I suggest আপনি stop being busy.”
“Which direction!?” Lizzy asked anxiously.
“Back that way!” Siera informed, pointing to her পূর্ববর্তি location.
“You okay up there Cyclist?!!” Lizzy yelled out.
“Go get the file!!” He responded. Lizzy rushed towards the location Siera pointed two, Cyclist stayed put, to finish the battle, and Siera ran back to help Zen with Tess.

Lizzy hadn’t run long, when she found Nick still running after the agent, who was slowly getting out of reach. “I’ll take care of it from here Nicky!” Lizzy called out, as she ran past the tired out mongoose. “Go help the others!” Nick nodded, then started back to the campsite, though Lizzy thought she might of heard him grumbling.

Lizzy quickly caught to the escaping Legionnaire, as they both neared a giant brick wall, separating the woods from the city. Lizzy almost had the agent in her hands, when he did a jump flip upward and over her, causing her to land straight into the wall. Of course this did little damage, due to the metallic energy she was still fused to. However, it did provide the agent a good ten seconds, before Lizzy would be able to see which direction he was.

Lizzy turned to her right, and thought she noticed the agent ducking into an alley (always an alley), and began to follow. This did not turn out to be the agent, but a simple dirty rag, caught on a ladder. Lizzy ripped the rag off, then continued to খুঁজুন for her prey.

Using her newly gained sound abilities, the mecha-cat focused her hearing in the shape of an expanding circle, which continued to stretch farther and wider, each second. Eventually a faint panting sound, coming from a large warehouse, to her far front made itself known.

As she quickly entered the warehouse, she saw the agent standing in the middle, holding the file in his hands. As she approached him, he startled backward for a moment, then started chuckling a bit.

“You still sane… person?” Lizzy asked, pretending to sound concerned. The agent lifted up the file, প্রদর্শিত হচ্ছে it to be connected to a cellphone.
“You’re too late.” He said. “The file’s information is already being uploaded, and in a few moments, it will all be-“ *CRASH*

While the agent was still explaining himself, Lizzy aimed a small arm কামান at the cellphone, then blew it to pieces. “Oops.” She teased, smirking.

“… আপনি may have stopped most of the information from getting through,” The agent spoke, “but some still got through, and you’re still here. Which means, আপনি are mine!”
“… I don’t know whether to call আপনি cheesy অথবা creepy.” She cautiously teased. “Even without everything I’ve absorbed, you’ve got nothing but your gadgets, which I doubt work after our little tussles.”
Lizzy started to walk up to the agent, as if to either knock him out, অথবা cuff him with some metal. She couldn’t decide. Instead, as she approached, a strange energy started flowing through her. It made her feel sick.
“What… is going… on…?” Lizzy faintly asked, getting weaker দ্বারা the moment.
“The energy আপনি absorbed, the red one, is blank element.” The agent explained. “It is a very rare substance, that is connected to life-force, hence the reason আপনি got আরো powerful, but is completely uninfected দ্বারা any of the natural elements, hence the reason you’re ability to ghost is useless against it.”
“Ghosting isn’t an… element.” Lizzy corrected.
“It is an elemental ability.” The legionnaire informed. “From the dark element. And since the blank element is inside of your system, those with a psychic chip in their brains can control it, অথবা you. And don’t even try to release it, because আপনি can’t. Not to mention the fact that I am also enhanced with special abilities of my own, which include magic. Oh and if আপনি think that আপনি can stop me with some form of other blank element, forget it. I’m making it reduce your life-force. I won’t kill আপনি of course, but only because we need আপনি to help us with the name in that file. আপনি have nothing to help আপনি with. The last artifact with that type of ability was destroyed before your origin was born. ”
“Artifact?” Lizzy pondered.
“Lizena Willow Eventide…” A voice called out from Lizzy’s mind.
“What?!” Lizzy thought, surprised দ্বারা the strange voice.
“You have the artifact.” The voice informed. “And now আপনি must use it.”
“How?” Lizzy asked. “You mean my dagger? I can only hold it in the air, nothing else!”
“… Then I’ll have to help you.” The voice informed. “Grab it, then speak out the first word that comes to your mind.”

Lizzy slowly moved her hand to her belt, as the last of her life-force slowly faded away.
