I was recently comtemplating this. Spike and Angel are demons, but they are also champions, so where are they going to go when they die. I know both think they'll be going to hell, but does anyone think they'll end up in Heaven?

I said Heaven as wishful thinking. I know that that's what he's been working towards, but he's probably not there yet. He did martyr himself for the good of man-kind, but who's to decide when he's given enough. And he came back from death, so that must not have met the criteria, he probably has a lot more do-goodery to participate in before his time is up.

Maybe he won't dust at all, maybe he'll be all ShanShu'd and stuff! So you know, he'll just have a heart-attack from those clogged arteries brought about by flowering onions and chicken wings. Or liver failure due to alcoholism. Or lung cancer. Hmm, now that I think about it, humanity looks pretty bleak for Spike.

It does, with the way he eats and drinks.

i wonder if i vampire was turned human would they still like blood? hmmm might go start a forum on that one
anyways although i think picking heaven might be wishful thinking as when he came back in angel he was slipping in to hell but i don't think he deserve eternal torment for something he couldn't help, you know? spike and angel are always saying they deserve hell and worse but sometimes i wonder if they do deserve that

Me to. With all Spike and Angel have done now, do they really deserve to burn? Did Anya? It's interesting to think about.

And I think Spike was slipping into hell because of Pavaynne, wasn't he?

Look,if you watch Angel (one of my fav programmes!!) you will know that they are going to hell, because you cant 4get their past & niether will God!!Angel&Spike can try to make amends,try to help has many people as they can, but they are doing that for themselfs,
so they has piece of mind!!Not so they can get into heven because those (Gates) closed a long time ago,& they would be a little nieve or even a bit stupid to think otherwise!!:)

But I always wondered why should Angel and Spike go to hell for eating their natural food source? Should any vampire. I mean, humans don't think they deserve to go to hell for eating a cow.

i agree with you nika, if angel is right and the demon takes over your body, it's not like they can help it why would their souls go to hell
isn't there a nice place in limbo that just neatural no happiness but no eternal torment (although spike may get off on that a bit lol) where spike and angel can happily argue about who deserves to go to hell more

Lol, well, I do know of a good one. It was unfortunately never finished though, as the author stopped writing fanfiction. The part's that were written were awesome though, and the author was pretty well known in the Spuffy community before she left the fandom.

in Angel season 5 we saw he would go to hell if he passed away. This is because he has a lot of evil, that he's responsible for, to make up to. He is a champion for good now, but he hasn't done enough..yet

From the good he's done compared to all the bad........

But if he or Angel goes to hell, which both of them have (kinda), they will be ok with that. xo

Well it would probably be kinda the same for spike. Sense he gets of on pain so eternal torment sounds pretty good and heaven well who wouldnt like it?

no matter what Spike or Angel do to try and make up for the bad they have done in the past and even if they do more good is god supposed to ignore all of that just becouse they have done more good than evil NO WAY! they still did all of those evil deeds and it will send them to hell

No matter how much good he does it will never be enough. Even if what he did was out of his control. It doesn't matter. He's going to hell :(

I want him to go to Heaven, but according to Angel Season 5 he's hell bound...

spike has a soul and he is a champion so he should get into heaven

I mean I'd like to think him and Angel having souls means they have a chance at heaven, but realistically they prob don't. D:

I don't get why everyone is ready to place them in hell (even they themselves), when it's not really the souls that did anything horrible. I might not know if the demons within them could also go to heaven, but they themselves should be able to. Especially Spike, he carries his soul better than Angel.

Just think of his soul. How much bad has he done with the soul? Nothing jumps to my mind. Therefore Heaven sounds right to me. Of course this is hypothetical because if this was real and something tried to kill Spike I wouldn't let it ;).

I don't think vampires are going to go to heaven, and the universe did not make extra rules just for two vampires with souls. I don't know what will happen with them, I always thought normal vampires won't get anywhere because their soul is divided from them, so they are simply dead just like Fred from Atvs.
