The new games are nothing but a bunch of Cliches and totaly unimaginitive. I mean the old Spyro games had more uniqueness than any of them, reguardless of the depth of the storyline.

I'm with you, Elfephant. I still have Spyro 2 and 3 (I only rented the first game) and have beaten them countless times. The good thing about them is that they never get boring.

Well that pretty much states that you arent a "Spyro the Dragon" fan. The legends have nothing to do with "Spyro the Dragon."

Basically not to sound like I'm being mean:

"Spyro the Dragon" belongs one genre.

You however like a totaly different genre that is not associated with concept of "Spyro the Dragon." The legend of Spyro belongs to a TOTALY DIFFERENT genre. This darker, melo-dramatic plot you already know is NOT a familiar of the light-hearted, upbeat predecessor.

You are a fan of a totaly different game that is not "Spyro the Dragon".

Agreed with everyone who chose the old games. I still play "Ripto's Rage" and "Year of the Dragon" all the time, even though they're easy as heck now and I've beaten them hundreds of times. I could never finish any of the newer games because they bore me to death and ruined the concept.

You can like both InvaderCynder. That is not a problem. It is the n00bs that come in saying "I never liked the Old Spyro! Teh new onez are bettar!" are the ones that get flamed(by us spammers, not Spyro.)

Every one hear who love old Spyro but hates new spyro I want to say that it dosen't matter spyro is spyro so please stop and love both old and new. It true that the people who thought of spyro stopped makeing old spyro but look I know its hard to change think If it as more of an anime show times change computer are more advanises sorry for miss spelling but any way spyro is like an anime old spyro was the first season tlo spyro is or was a new season you see and I bet that they mite a new spyro game to add to the spyro family and I bet that the'll bring back ember and flame with a haichling then spyro and cynder have one as well. Just please give the new spyro a change ^_^

I like both old and new. The new games i just love how they drew the dragons and yes i agree with u thespikedturtle there is a little too much fighting in it. But i like the scenes and the action and stuff. i do like the old ones a lot though. The new Spyro is 100% not as bad as the new Crash games ( those r the worst!) But we are not on the Crash website right know. soo....i dont know

Even though i love the old games far more than the new ones. I still think the new ones are pretty decent to play.

If you are going to bash the old, or even the new games, then you are in no way a true Spyro fan.

You can't hate the old ones at all, though. If you want to be considered a true fan, then that is not allowed.
The old games paved the way for Spyro. Without them, "The Legend of Spyro" would not exist.

So, the person up there, who said that us fans of the old games were let downs, and the the old games "r tiresome," is clearly not a true fan.
