‘SUPERNATURAL’ SEASON 8 DEFINITELY NOT THE LAST, SAYS CW BOSS

It's awesome. I just can't wait to watch seaon 8.

Awesome! Maybe they'll do another lengthy plotline now. These past two seasons have kinda felt like they were trying to create a possible ending point like with, say, a movie that would wrap up the story.
I feel like elaborating on my own statement; the leviathans weren't mentioned until after season six, making Cas winning the war for heaven and becoming "God" the end. As for season seven *potential spoiler* the leviathans all got killed off so quickly it just felt like they were trying to end things neatly. (I'm saying they didn't measure up to the first five seasons, not that these seasons are bad. I've rewatched these eps as many times as any others ;) )

On another note, Supernatural may outlast the X-Files! That series has probably topped off scifi shows with 9 season and 202 episodes. Now THAT would be one hell of a milestone :D
