Great question, Lucy! I don't think it's quite the same thing, though. In both cases it's manipulation, but Castiel needs to possess Jimmy in order to use him, while YED encouraged the psychic kids to use what they already had (even though he was responsible for their being that way!). He may have been coerced, but Jimmy still gave permission to be Castiel's vessel. The psychic kids did not have a choice in what was done to them. :))

Totally agree with Wendy!I also think that Azazel persuaded the kids by presenting them a ''gift'' that they could gain some advantage from it, whereas Jimmy didn't have any extra abilities or gain in general but agreed to do it due to his faith.But,I can see where you're coming from Lucy :)
