i personally find this annoying. i dunno about you guys, but it makes it hard to find "real" videos in the spot. no offense to anyone, but to me it seems like people only add touns of videos to get a medal. and when they add 82482 videos in a minute, you can totally tell they don't take the time to watch the videos. you know people take the time to make the videos as well. i know this, as i'm a videomaker myself. it's just as icons from livejournal. people put time and effort just as much (or even more!) into the videos they make :)

personally i only add fanvideos if i've made them myself, or if i really like them and i want to share them. though cause of all the other fanvideos that are added, people never seem to notice when you add something you made yourself :/

I personaly like add videos,because there are some very beautiful videos,but mostly I add only videos that I like in particular,I try not to add,you know 20 videos all together,and really no offense please,I don't like that much when I check the updates and I find 15 videos one after the other,because I think they can be very good videos,but I really don't watch them because they're too much,please don't take this in a offensive way,because I love all the efforts that all of you put in this spot,it's just my opinion :)and after all I love add videos,so maybe I'm guilty too :P

I think this spot is not the worst - it's basically Glee and now Skins fanvids that keep blocking my updates. I don't add videos anymore, because the ones that I like and I want to share are already added.
But now I want to start making my own :)

I love fanvids. Although sometimes people add too many at once [Personally, I only ever add 3 at a time] I still think they're a nice contribution to the spot. And finding 'real' videos should be easy if the keywords for them are done properly.
Also, I agree with Kaidi that this spot is by far not the worse one for people who upload too many videos at one time- and personally I find that annoying regardless of what kind of videos they are- fanvid or 'real'.

I add videos I watch and I like only.
They send me a lot at youtube but if I watch something I don't like or find it badly made or weird,sorry to the makers,but I don't add it..

I only ever add vids that I watch/like ;P so yeah. I try not to add too many at once, but it really just depends on what i'm doing at the time. xD i'm a youtube WHORE. I love me some vids <3 ;D

I like fanvids, actually. I think they show some creative talent.

my brain just skips over the videos in the updates stream. and i make an effort not to look at the three video icons on the main spot page, because sometimes there are uploads of previews/webclips for the upcoming episode and i'm trying to avoid seeing any of them

I don't really mind, but then I don't keep on top of them much myself. Although I've seen some great vids, I really have to filter through them, because even at 100% brightness, my psycho monitor is too dark to make out what's going on in most of them. :(( It makes it a little difficult when there are so many of them.

OH! also, I don't have the vids in my updates ;P so it doesn't actually spam my list of stuff.

I like fanvids, they're really cool but i don't really notice them in my updates I don't even know if i get them :)
