I think between the Years of 2003-2005, all the best shows were brought to us and they made sure that all their audiences were satisfied. Now, many shows are just after ratings.

I'm torn between 2004 and 2007... 2004 is when House and Lost started, but season 3 of House was GREAT (2007) and that's when Gossip Girl and Pushing Daisies started.
