The episode opens with Nicole coming প্রথমপাতা from a hard day's work and falling asleep on the পালঙ্ক পরবর্তি to her husband, who is busy watching television. Gumball comes প্রথমপাতা shortly after and tries to share stories about his দিন at school to his parents, but neither of them pay attention. Feeling neglected, Gumball storms off to his room and accidentally wakes up his mother in the process. It's বড়দিন Eve, and all the citizens of Elmore are in a festive mood. Many characters wish the viewers a merry Christmas, including the Wattersons, who are driving প্রথমপাতা in their car. Their high spirits are abruptly brought down, however, when they crash into someone. This "someone" turns out to be a filthy bum that looks strikingly similar to Santa Claus, at least in Richard's opinion.
They rush the stranger to the hospital, with Richard voicing his worry about being on the naughty তালিকা this year. He decides to make up for it with several last মিনিট good deeds, running around the hospital...
