Hello, all! I'm back! *Que corny সঙ্গীত and fanfare* For those of আপনি who don't know who I am, my name, as আপনি can see, is Amphitrite, but আপনি can all call me Amph. I've been up on Olympus, but I've decided to make my return, and let me tell you, I'm আরো than a little upset. Why? Well, I've been on this spot from the very beginning, and I think of it the way someone would think of their child. I helped shape it, I প্রণয় it, and আরো than anything I want to be proud of it...but right now, I'm not very proud....rules have gone unheeded, respect is nil, and well, it just looks crappy...totally not what Roheha, অথবা any of the rest of us "old timers" had in mind when we came here to escape spacial limitations and spam....so what am I doing about it? How am I gonna' make my metaphorical child presentable, respectable, and down right awesome? Well, I'm going to retool the rules, and I hate to sound mean, but if আপনি can't follow the rules, I know where the প্রতিবেদন button is and I know how to use it, as do my admins.

Admins? Of who do I speak? Well, these are some people that are not only totally awesome, but also totally dedicated to keeping this spot fully operational, easily navigated and spick and span. So without further ado, your admins!

Before we get to them, I'd like to go over what will happen if আপনি don't abide দ্বারা the rules.

1. First Warning. We will notify আপনি that আপনি have broken a rule, and if it is changeable, ask আপনি to change whatever violation আপনি have made.

2.Second warning. We will notify আপনি that আপনি have once again made an infraction, if it is on the same material that we warned আপনি about, the material will be reported.

3. Report. We will not warn আপনি a third time. If আপনি make a third offense we will প্রতিবেদন you, no ifs, ands, অথবা buts about it. There are also certain offenses that we will প্রতিবেদন আপনি for immediately instead of giving warnings, we will get to these in a minute. Also know, three warnings will get আপনি banned from not just the spot but from ফ্যানপপ as a whole.

And now for the rules.


1. The golden rule, not only for the spot but for life in general. আপনি all know this one, your parents have been preaching it since আপনি were born: Do unto others as আপনি would have them do to you! What does it mean? BE NICE! No one wants to be bullied, and anyone caught being rude will be reported immediately, without any warnings. So, in closing, be kind and considerate. If আপনি don't have anything nice to say, then keep your fingers off the keyboard!

2. This rule goes hand-in-hand with the first one. No discrimination! I don't care if the person is a 67 বছর old Satanic Nazi woman with three blue lazy eyes, a peg-leg, 32 মার্জার and 15 inch long fingernails. She is still a person, and every person deserves respect and the chance to interact without fear of being criticized অথবা ostracized. If আপনি are creeped out দ্বারা someone's Religion/opinion/political beliefs/age, leave it alone unless they give আপনি good cause to worry, at which point send me অথবা one of the other Admins a message letting us know about the supposed problem. And FYI, not every person over the age of 15 is a creep...I'm 21, and I'm not a creep :) Again, as with rule number one, if আপনি are caught braking this rule, আপনি will be reported immediately and without warning!

3.Again, this rule goes hand-in-hand with rules 1 and 2. No racial slurs! Everybody is created the same way, everyone bleeds the same color, has the same bodily organs and functions, and everyone deserves the right to be able to participate here without anyone mentioning অথবা degrading their racial/cultural background. Please use politically correct terms if আপনি must refer to race, but under no circumstances will racial slurs be tolerated! আপনি will be reported if আপনি are caught violating this rule!

3.SPAM IS UNACCEPTABLE! Not only does it make it hard to navigate the spot, but it also makes the spot look untidy and we don't want that, we want a spot that we can take pride in. What if someone searched for নায়ক of Olympus and our spot popped up at the শীর্ষ of the খুঁজুন list? Would আপনি really want people to see a messy spot? No! We want a spot we can take pride in, so please no spam! If that wasn't motivational, then take into consideration that spam will get আপনি a warning.

4.This spot is called নায়ক of Olympus for a reason! It is for the discussion, celebration and adoration of Camp Halfblood! If its not about this series, then it doesn't belong here.I know আপনি all like other books, but this is not the place for them, they have their own spots. So don't discuss them here. আপনি will receive a warning for this one.

5. Please use proper grammar! I know we, দ্বারা human nature, are not perfect, but there is no excuse for substantial grammar errors. Spell check is available on most browsers so please take advantage of it. Also, text talk (brb, ttyl, wtf, lmao) is not only obnoxious and annoying, it is also something that may not be understood দ্বারা everyone, and is therefore unacceptable. Please save it for your pms, ims, and facebook, do not use it here. Using text talk will earn আপনি a warning. "lol" is acceptable but only in comments.

6.Please categorize content and material correctly. If আপনি have a অনুরাগী art picture আপনি want to post, put it in the অনুরাগী art section not the screen স্মারক অথবা প্রতীকী sections. If আপনি have a অনুরাগী fiction, put it in the forums, not the articles. Its common sense, and it makes our spot look tidy. Any miscategorized content will be reported.

7.If আপনি are posting something that is not your own work, then give the creator credit. On pictures, simply putting "DeviantArt" in the credits section is unacceptable, deviantArt did not create it, an artist within the DeviantArt community did. Make sure that artist gets just credit.

8.Please keep inappropriate language to a minimum. We have plenty of young fanpoppers here, and we need to প্রদর্শনী them respect দ্বারা using appropriate language. There is an exception, of course, that being fanfiction. If আপনি choose to use foul language in your fanfics, though, আপনি must have a clear rating (please refer to the fanfic rules for the ratings)

9.The দেওয়াল is not a যেভাবে খুশী discussion thread, and should not be used as such. If আপনি want to ask about how someone is feeling অথবা tell everybody about your day, do it somewhere else. The দেওয়াল is for notifications and announcements whether they be official HoO spot business, notifications that new articles/fanfic chapters have been published, অথবা alerts that new clues are available. Warnings will be issued for misuse of the wall.

In closing, we all want to be proud of the spot that we are all so much a part of, and to do that we all need to respect and abide the rules. If আপনি have any questions, feel free to ask, an admin will answer it as soon as possible.
