*WARNING- SPOILERS*



Heyoooo! So what’s this? :O Ricky already released the sneak peek chapter? Percabeth reunion? Answer to first: Yes. Answer to second: No.
Yeah, I was pretty upset about the whole -No-Percabeth-reunion-Rick-how-could-you-I-am-so-mad-at-you-and-want-to-read-that-book-so-flippin’-bad thing. Oh well. Rick loves to troll us.

So yeah, I’m totally psyched and pumped for this book...I mean, really. This one is supposedly “Rick’s favorite” as he ব্যক্ত on the HoO Disney/Hyperion website.

So, looking at the cover, all I can think is OMG BLACKJACK IS BACK! Yeah that’s me for you. So we have Percy is his পছন্দ কমলা Camp Half-Blood shirt, riding on his donut-obsessed awesome pegasus, Blackjack. Jason is on the otherside, wearing his purple Camp Jupiter শার্ট and riding on his venti from The হারিয়ে গেছে Hero- Tempest.

Either way, Percy and Jason are doing some sort of fighting. Rick will NOT reveal what, how, অথবা why (because he loves to troll us) they are fighting, but even a six-year old can tell they are fighting. It is unclear of WHOM they are fighting, but my mind is thinking they are fighting each other in some brawl to the death between Greeks and Romans. Not to mention ডিজনি will soon be making a ‘GreeksvsRomans’ website that should be up around...the summer? I don’t know, check his blog আপনি people. Haha, no seriously, read it.

Also on the cover, is the creepiest owl I have ever seen on a cover. I probably will never be able to read the book without taking off the hardcover, and folding it under my বালিশ AND THEN পাঠ করা the book. It seriously creeps me out. I mean, it’s just STARES at you. What is not creepy about that!?

I also have this very strange and curious suspicion the owl is Annabeth. I mean, when I first saw it, I legitimately thought it was Annabeth. Not kidding. So could Athena get super ticked off at her daughter and turn her into an owl? That is probable, and I would have a good laugh.

Okay, onto the actual Mark of Athena. There are many things I have been thinking for about this, and so far only a few seem to fit.

1.) Athena gives Annabeth some sort of ‘Mark’ on her arm অথবা some not embarrassing part of her body like a birthmark that holds awesome power that could destroy the entire world. Yay.
- Flaws in this - In the sneak peek chapter, no sort of tattoo thing like Daedalus was mentioned, sadly, as I had formerly predicted. Oh well, blow off this idea and keep thinking...

2.) Athena gives Annabeth a coin- in the sneak peek chapter, Annabeth mentioned that her mother had প্রদত্ত her the ‘worst present ever’. So what could it be? Possibly a coin of some type with something printed on the back like Jason’s old coin Ivlivs. This is আরো probable because Rick mentioned something Annabeth is hiding...so I have kind of crossed out the idea of a tattoo. It’s too easily spotted, and a coin would be cooler. Maybe the coin holds unlimited power and schist. The Mark of Athena is supposed to ‘Burn’ through Rome too. Maybe Leo somehow gets his hands on it, and being Leo, tinkers with it and then accidentally lights himself on fire. Whoops. Burns down Rome. Maybe that is what Terminus meant when he ব্যক্ত at the end of the chapter for Annabeth not to ‘destroy his city.’ Oh yay, sounds like so much fun.

3.) Athena’s ‘gift’ is a small token to ‘avenge’ her, অথবা just a plain note that is a token of some type. Who knows, maybe Athena’s ‘revenge’ is something that happened a long time ago, and I have a strange feeling Annabeth is being a little too rushed to find Percy. Maybe her mother’s avenging is to get revenge on Poseidon and harm Percy অথবা sommit. Haha, like Annabeth would do that. I laugh that off. Well, not really. Also, Annabeth mentioned how she would প্রণয় to ‘pray to her mother, but since last মাস that was now nearly impossible.’ One emotion: O_O I wonder what could have happened, perhaps Athena herself has been captured দ্বারা Gaea thinking she was clever to defeat Mother Earth herself and got captured like old Cow goddess *thunder* I mean Hera, and needs Annabeth’s help to rescue her.

4.) Going off on idea numero tres, I’m thinking somehow Athena is captured অথবা has been somehow influenced to do something bad she doesn’t want to do. Maybe that is why Terminus was being so...snobby to Annabeth as they crossed into the Roman camp. Or, perhaps, Annabeth’s gift was Athena’s power অথবা sommit...yeah I don’t know. Obviously something is up with the Wisdom Goddess, and I have no idea. Maybe Terminus has a crush on Athena and just hates Annabeth...ha ha ha ha ha...

5.) Going off on all these ideas, and the coin, maybe the Mark of Athena is just a token from the Goddess that grants আপনি power, and Athena has blessed Annabeth with the responsibility with holding onto it. Maybe it is sapping the power of Rome, therefore ‘burning’ away the foundations. IDK. We’ll have to say. Just some assumptions.

6.) Universal is out of ideas. Will post আরো if she comes up with them.


Last and certainly not least, we have the subject of WHO IS THIS BOOK ABOUT!? According to the website, there is FOUR people’s point of views. The প্রশ্ন is, who are they?

Possibilities:

1a. Annabeth (duh)
1b. Percy (he’s on the cover)
1c. Jason (also on the cover)
1d. Leo (because we প্রণয় him, he is awesome, and also because the Mark of Athena BURNS through Rome.)

e. Nico - hey, we প্রণয় this এমো স্টাইল kid, and plus the best person to find the Doors of Death? <-- This guy.
f. Reyna - why? I have absolutely no clue. I highly doubt this- Like, ALOT.
g. A new Character.

G is very likely. Rick even mentioned that a new character would be previewed sometime in September before the release of the book. For some reason, I am struck on the idea this new character is a girl. YES A GIRL. Why? Well, look around. Percy has Annabeth. Jason has Piper. Frank has Hazel. The seven are balanced out- except for Leo. Which also leaves my idea that the fourth point of view will be Leo, but I’m also thinking a new girl is pulled in. What parent? No idea, maybe it’s something random. অথবা perhaps Poseidon wasn’t kidding about having আরো kids like at the end of the Last Olympian and suddenly there is a daughter of Neptune...wouldn’t that be nice? Like everything, I like balance. Jason/Thalia. Nico/Bianca/Hazel. Percy/ ???? Percy is the only child of the Big Three that DOESN’T have a Roman child counterpart. Well, I’m saying a girl, and a daughter of Neptune. Just a hunch, no evidence to say I am right অথবা wrong. Therefore I am not right nor wrong, just correct. Hahahaha....

So yeah, all of my theories. Most of them are just crazy thoughts, like the idea the owl on the cover with the large grey eyes is Annabeth...but whatevs. Yes, I just ব্যক্ত ‘whatevs.’ I’m so hip and cool like Aphrodite and the txting now. HAHAHA.
