4-Path revealed
I stumbled, around my boots clacking on something hard, tiles maybe. I balance and crashed into a দেওয়াল then slid my back to ব্যক্ত দেওয়াল to the ground. I rubbed my face, till my eyes came into focus but it was easy enough to tell between the constant beeping, the feeling of sorrow, and how the দেওয়াল feel like one of those boards আপনি can write on. "What the hell are আপনি doing?" I squinted and came into focus on a tanned man with dark hair and a darker scowl. He only stood about 5'2 to my 5'10 so wasn't an imposing figure but the scowl seemed to imply he thought he was.
"Well boy?" Yeah Frodo I wouldn't be speaking I thought, but I needed info so I stared at him for a couple আরো seconds.
"Arisutea Takahashi son of Nemesis commands you, where am I?" His jaw went slack for a bit.
"You're four kilometers from your destination." Now I was slack jawed, the power of the King usually made targets answer and obey me unconditionally like a আরো powerful charmspeak that required eye contact. This time it seemed the information seemed to race back and forth calculating what I needed and then simply telling me where to go.
"Right thanks." I walked off from him, but her perused grabbing my shoulder. There was still a red ring around his Iris the tell-tale sign that only wielders of the power could see that showed he was under control অথবা whatever the power was for the person. The power was a nice little trick to have but not something আপনি should always depend on, if it increases enough in power rumors say something আপনি can't just turn it off.
"Anything else I can do for you?"
"Where's a mirror?" I mutter. The guy starts searching his weird doctor jacket, flipping inside out every pocket he has frantically until he finds a phone.
"Here!" He says completely free of any negative emotions he had before. I grabbed it and looked at the reflection of my eyes, a symbol like a lazily drawn bird had made the rest of my eye fade out and was glowing in red. It was increasing in power I sighed.
"Thanks man I'm good." The glow faded from his eyes, he was staggered for a moment. Suddenly I had a information overload. I received all of the guys memories of the place I was going, I staggered also and decided, it was time to get going. I put my fingers to my head and started focusing on the place, then I poured the energy into and ............. remained where I was. I tried again, then again, and again and again until I was smashing my index finger and middle finger into my head viciously.
"What are আপনি doing?" ব্যক্ত the hobbit now coming out of his daze. I drew my fingers back three feet and then thrust them at my forehead and got all the built up energy to the face as a reward. My anger got the better of me and I let off a wave of mental arrows, blasting them all back like ragdolls. I blew out the lights and used the opportunity to shadow travel to the scene.
First thing I felt? My back hitting the ground. First thing I smelt? Blood. সেকেন্ড thing I felt? Sick. I was flat on the ground staring up into a blurry রাস্তা light, sirens going off all around me, wrecked scrap heaps of car's grinding against the cement. I rolled off my pack and pushed up off the ground, dazed and staggering.
"Alright, where's Thanatos?" I breathed staring around. I slipped into true-sight concentrating to keep the mist at bay. I turned to face the other way but there was just a blockade of police keeping people from seeing if their loved one where alright, this seemed odd that there was so many people for only four cars and a semi. I let off a wave in hunter sense and was immediately overwhelmed, there wasn't four cars. It was closer to forty.
It was a big number indeed, part of me felt like scum and that I should be helping the injured, my own goals didn't matter in the slightest. The other part knew better. Part of me wondered how no one had seen me yet. That same part realized something, I was stuck in the shadow. My powers where warping so insanely that I had even thought I was standing, I had to think fast অথবা the exit would close leaving my stuck in the shadows permanently. I began to twist and turn, my body was getting আরো and আরো stuck in the shadows like a spiders webs in a ocean of tar. Panic was flooding me almost as tangibly and the shadows, I tapped into a feral berzerker state that made me rage like an eleven year-old that is repeatedly shown how smart she isn't. A wave of pure darkness burning like আগুন emerged from under a রাস্তা light in the middle of the road, I was levitating towards the শীর্ষ of it, this was an odd sight to be sure. The thing about odd sights is they tend to make our minds set of a sonar. A godly presence has far আরো weight then a mortals, I felt Thanatos presence like a boulder falling from orbit it was obvious what to do next. Raven wings burst from my back, I stood not ten feet from death himself, my eyes glaring from under my hood, mortals looking at two দেবদূত of death in awe.
"I'll assume আপনি don't like this encounter anymore then I do. Just tell me where to go and we're done here." My voice was deadly calm, with a edge that could cut air in half.
"Very well." Something about me put him off balance, something about me made death itself feel fear. Like I was some crazy variable he couldn't predict. As much as I would have liked to say I had an epic duel with death he simply told me what I needed to know.
"Walk in the land of wreckage and desola-"
"Cut the crap Thanatos, give me a name." I snapped.
"Fine" He slashed a hole in the fabric of reality. "A portal now get going."
I glided through without the slightest hesitation.
