She plays the part perfectly. I think the worst actresses for Katniss that were in the running were Dakota Fanning and Chloe Moretz. They just weren't right! Dakota's sister, Elle, would be good for Prim, but I don't think Dakota would be good for Katniss. I think the casting for the movie is great, Liongate did a great job. And Jennifer is really pretty, but not drop-dead gorgeous, so she would look like Katniss. Without too much makeup (like in the woods in the trailer) she looks great and she looks strong and confident. I think Jennifer was a perfect choice... and she looks better with brown hair.

I hate Jennifer for the part of Katniss. She is the last person in the world anyone expected for that part! I think she should stick with blonde hair and make-up. The whole cast is great except for her. They cold have done a better job for the casting, and she should have taken the lead role for the movie Scavenger instead of The Hunger Games.

I think she's a good part for katniss I have nothing to complain about her yet.

I think she is perfect as Katniss. She's a wonderful actor and has really taken the role as Katniss seriously. So far, the only complaints I've seen from people are completely ridiculous; "She's too tall!", "She's too pretty", "She's not skinny enough", "She's blonde". I mean really???? That's all people have to complain about?

Jennifer Lawrence is not only perfect for the role she makes it's come alive. I picture Katniss to be her in all three books, she is my role model and made the movie so amazing and touching that I cried NO ONE can top her!!!!! She is amazing actress and her hair is beautiful in brow and blond in what Eva movie photo shoot or interview LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!
