I LOVE them both but the first one was the best.

the hunger games, definitely. the only reason i didn't like catching fire very much is because of having all the new characters to keep track of, and having people return from previous games.

I think they are both excellent books, but the first one can stand alone as a complete book where as the second one really has no ending. I also agree with iloveBRT, too many new characters to keep track of.

All of the books are amazing in their own way. However, THG is by far my favorite because of the lovable characters and the plot in the first book got me hooked! Catching Fire was good but I kinda agree with the others about there being too many characters.
