A/N: Frankie is 3, Nick is 11, Meredith is 12, Joe is 14, and Kevin is 16.
"I hate you!"I screamed at my সেকেন্ড oldest brother, then slammed the door shut on his face, bursting into tears. I crashed down onto my bed, sobbing. After awhile, my tears were all dried out, and my eyes were red and puffy. I heard a knock on the door.
"Go away JOE!!"I yelled.
"It's me,"I heard the voice of my oldest brother, Kevin. I remained silent, and heard the doorknob turning. Kevin came in and sat beside me. I sniffed.
"Joe was only trying to-"
"I don't care!"I yelled, then bit my lip. I hardly ever yelled at Kevin. Yelling was usually reserved for Joe, অথবা sometimes even Nick. But not Kevin. He sighed, then rubbed my back.
"He just..."Kevin's voice trailed off, thinking of what to say.
"What?"I asked sullenly, turning over and placing my head on his chest.
"Meredith, it's just that he knows Ray, and isn't the best of বন্ধু with him. And he also doesn't like the fact that রশ্মি is 14 and you're 12."
"That's only two years, Kev."
"I know, but it's different when you're younger."
"Yeah, well, Joe's still a buttface."
"Come on, Mer,"Kevin sighed again,"he was just worried and was trying to protect you, and I see why he did it. He loves you."
"Whatever,"I rolled my eyes, grabbing my বালিশ and hugging it to my chest.
"If it helps any, I probably would've done the same thing if I were Joe."
"Why?!"I asked angrily.
"Because, we're still not used to the fact that you're growing up. After all, আপনি are our baby sister. And, as older brothers, we never want আপনি to get hurt."
"But he totally invaded my privacy!"I growled.
"You have to forgive him sometime, Mer,"Kevi raised his eyebrows at me.
"Yeah. I guess,"I ব্যক্ত reluctantly. "but Kevin?"

"Can, I like, tackle him first?"
"I never had this conversation with you,"Kevin grinned, giving me a hug then walking out of the room. After a few minutes, I rubbed my eyes dry, then went out into the hallway, looking for Joe. I found him in the livingroom, about to walk into the kitchen.
"Joseph Adam Jonas!"I yelled. He gave me a perplexed look, then let out a short yell as I tackled him to the ground.
"I guess I'm forgiven?"he grunted as I slammed him onto the floor.
"Yes. Just don't do it again, আপনি jerk."
He smiled, then turned the tables, starting to tickle me.
"Joe! No...bad boy!"I gasped in between laughs.
"Okay, guys, break it up,"my mom ব্যক্ত as she walked into the room. We both looked up, giving her innocent smiles. She rolled her eyes slightly, a smirk on her face.
"Meredith started it,"Joe pointed.
"Liar!"I pouted.
"Suck up-"Joe began, but Mom stopped him.
"If আপনি guys are going to fight, please do it upstairs, where I don't have to hear it?"
"Oh, we're not fighting, Mom,"I grinned at Joe, then ran upstairs, with him running after me. He caught me in the hallway and threw me over his shoulder.
"Joe!"I protested. He went into my room and threw me on my bed.
"You're an idiot,"I laughed at him.
"Yeah. Maybe. So...are আপনি and..um, রশ্মি still goig out?"he asked cautiously.
"Nope,"I shook my head,"he was a jerk."
"Then why'd আপনি get mad at me?!"
"Because আপনি still invaded my privacy, jerk অথবা no. And I can take care of myself."
"Meredith, you're like, a shrimp."
I grimaced. He was right, I was really tiny for my age. I guess that went with me being a premature baby.
"You could say it in a nicer way."
"Okay. Meredith, you're a shrimp,"he smiled sweetly at me. I whacked him over the head with a pillow.
Joe and me would always get into fights. That's just the way we were. But I always knew one thing...he only did it because he thought it was his duty to protect his little sister. Oh, and he loved me. :)
