“It’s just gonna be like falling asleep, right?” (Y/N) sniffles from my lap, head resting on my shoulder.
“Yeah.” I manage to say. “But a lot better. You’re gonna be happy forever.” I say quietly.
The doctors couldn’t do anything আরো for her. They told me to take her home, she’d be আরো comfortable that way.
“I’m gonna miss you.” She whispers.
“Not as much as I’m going to miss you,” I say, hand brushing through her hair.
We were sitting on the back porch, just as the sun was setting.
“I’ll wait for you, আপনি know.” She says, managing to smile.
I smile back down at her. “I know. It’s gonna be one hell of a party up there.”
“We can watch sunsets across the world,” she says.
“Yeah.” I say.
She starts to doze off.
“Wait!” I say loudly. Her eyes flash open. “I প্রণয় আপনি so much. আপনি have no idea how much I’m going to miss you.” I hold her tighter. “I’m going to be fine though. I promise. And I can’t wait to see you. I know you’re good hands… And I just প্রণয় আপনি (Y/N).” The silent tears just flow.
She pulls me in for one last passionate kiss.
“I প্রণয় আপনি too.” She whispers.
We sit for a few minutes. She dozes off, this time I don’t say anything.
This is the last time I’d hold her with her হৃদয় beating.
