	samjhart picked i already read the books.: I read them a while back after re-discovering LJ after a number of years. I remembered her as the author of 'the secret circle' (which was great too!) so I tried TVD. Its slower than SC but jus as enjoyable. The tv show = awesomeness tho :) posted বছরখানেক আগে.

	Rose_ picked me.....: I started reading the books during a hiatus in season 2 (last December)! I almost gave up reading because I didn't like Elena in the books at all and her obsession with Stefan also annoyed me. But when Damon appeared it was like in the tv-show - love at first sight/read!!! Damon is just an amazing character and I really enjoy reading about him. So far I read the first 5 books and I will start with Shadow Souls soon. From what I heard Shadow Souls and Midnight are the best books (esp. for Delena fans). posted বছরখানেক আগে.

But I'm reading Harry Potter right now and every month I get a new thriller book from a company and I'm first going to read those books before I start with TVD.
