I want to say Delena and I have a feeling they might be- what with the phenomenal build-up and unbelievable tension, but I really can't say who will be endgame. I after all, cannot get into the writers brains and see. I mean, TVD has a long future ahead of it and though many signs point to Delena, as I sincerely hope, it's impossible for me to say which will certainly be endgame...

I'm 70% sure they will be. I mean, what would have been the point in their amazing build up if they weren't? Plus, the show feels pretty pointless if SE are together now and are when the show ends. What change is being made? What character growth is being made? etc. Plus, not many people stay with their first loves for the rest of their life at aged 17.

Also, I feel like the love between Damon and Elena has been hard and has been trailed for so long, and that's the thing about love, you have to help each other go through changes, go through proper love patches and 'hate' each other for a bit. I don't think like Stefan and Elena challege each other like Damon and Elena do- Damon brings out the fun side in Elena, something that hasn't been since before Elena's parents died. Elena always seems serious when she's with Stefan, and when she is having fun, it feels forced to me. Elena also brings out Damon's humanity. (He would do anything for her, and he would never hurt her- he learnt his lesson when he 'killed' Jeremy). I mean I know some people think Elena is bringing Damon's personality down, but he has the right to feel down when he isn't with the 'love of his life.' Ian Somerhalder's words, not mine. Also, love changes people.

There is no way a relationship like Delena's, which yes is a bit disfuntional, could NOT be end game. They've had the build up, the angst, fun, friendship... everything you could ask for. They represent a more realistic relationship than Stelena because how many people out there would call themselves an 'epic' couple on one of their first meetings and how many people fall in love striaght away? It's rare that people do. Of course the killing/vampire aspect etc isn't realistic of real life but everything else is. I mean I know I've already said it, but I really want them together because to me two people that challenge each other in everything before they even get together deserves a reward- being together. I also feel that Stefan and Elena bring each other down and their personalities- it's like the only time there is action between them is when they are in danger. Even when they are attempting 'fun' they look bored. I mean, in the double date in S1 Elena looked like she was having more fun with Matt and Caroline with Stefan. In S2, in the lake house... they just fail at it.

Totally agree with u @katie15 ;) Plus one of the reasons for what I love Damon and Elena, it's because that when they will happen, they will know everything about each other, they learnt how they are and they will accept them for who they really are. C'mon..Stefan and Elena become a couple at the third episode of S1, that's ridiculous! Or maybe for a 17years old like Elena is normal. But when she's with Damon is more herself, more mature and woman. She can express who she is. When she's with Stefan, she seems another stupid Bella Swann who doesn't have personality, that can only say "oh you're so right my sweet lovely love!". Uhm, NO, it's not like that that a relationship has to go! And did u notice that Damon and Elena, have the best scenes and build-up of the serie? Every scene of them is epic, and there is a reason if a lot of people ship them instead of Stelena. They're boring, teen lovers and they can only hug and kisses. That's not an "epic couple". Plus the last episode was a totail FAIL. Promo pics and promo videos show just a Stelena episode and the share was like 2.7 that is terrible..it says a lot.

Oh and say whatever you want..but when 70% of fans of a show ship a couple, and is known that is what people want, producers and writers must care about that. They know what people want. At the end they will do what they think is right, but I repeat, there is a reason for all this love for Delena. And if they're not gonna be the endgame..it would really be a shame because it's them the true epic lovestory of the show.

It's pretty obvious, tbh. They're taking their sweet time with it, and putting lots of care into this relationship.

I don't think Delena's gonna happen until after Elena's death (which I don't think will happen in this season). I really think TVD will be boring if Delena happened so soon, because then the show wouldn't have that excitement every time Delena was together. I fear they will become another boring couple.

Besides, I think I'm more of a Stelena fan now... When I see Damon now, I just... He doesn't turn me on that much anymore... Stefan, however, with his beautiful body. Yummy! So much better than Mr. Greenpeace.

Neither is my OTP. But from the looks of it. It looks like Stelena is the high school relationship. Then they are building up Delena to be "the couple" of the show.

I honestly think it will be Stelena, but I really don't give a shit. They just seem... I don't know, almost like it's sort of obvious they'll be endgame. Its just the way they are as a couple. That, and a few quotes I've seen from Julie, mainly the one about Stefan and Elena being the true epic love story, and Damon being the point in the triangle. With that being said, I could totally see them doing a Delena endgame too. But that seems more unlikely. So my guess is that it'll be Stelena.

I don't see point of all those amazing, breathtaking Stelena scenes, if they won't be endgame. Elena many times said that the only person she'll ever love is Stefan, so I just can't imagine her & Damon. For me, they are just not right. Stelena is perfect in every way, and they belong to eachother. :)

it's really tough to guess..but if i had to, I'd say stelena. stefan really loves elena, no doubt about it. damon obviously has feelings for her, that's clear. but there's the whole issue of people wondering whether or not he really loves her for her or if it's due to her looking exactly like katherine, who he spent an really long time having an unhealthy obsession with. who knows though

I like both, so I am not being a bias Stelena or Delena fan, because I simply like them both.

Honestly? I think Stelena are definitely endgame. Without a doubt. They are the Ross and Rachel. The couple that started in the first episode. JP and KW have both said that they are the main love story of the series, and even though delena has more fans, I don't think they are going to change the direction of the show just to make delena fans happy. Sad, but true. I definitely think that by the end of the series Elena will love Damon, but I just think that she will always love Stefan more. And even though I like them equally, I think I would feel cheated if delena were endgame, just because Elena has said like 1901734590123910 times that she will always love Stefan, that it is ALWAYS going to be Stefan, it would just seem random and forced if she threw all that out the window and went away with Damon.

But if Delena don't end up together, I don't think that Delena fans should be upset. I mean, some of the best couples don't end up together, and sometimes it is because they don't end up together that make them all the more memorable.

I don't really care too much about who she ends up with, because I would be happy either way, but it would make more sense to the plotline if she ended up with Stefan.

As much as I love Damon, I've always felt Stelena was going to be endgame. I think the hard thing about choosing between the two couples is that since Elena and Stefan have shared so much, Stelena shippers are going to lose so much respect for her if she chooses Damon after everything she's shared with Stefan. Just like a few episodes ago when Elena was talking to Caroline about if she even thinks about Damon in a loving way, what does that make her?

I have to admit, Stelena to me is less of a thrill to watch compared to Delena, but I think the way they love each other is more deep than Delena. Damon you can obviouly see loves Elena a lot but i think the love is unequal between him and Elena. And I think Damon deserves someone to love him just as much.

It's funny though, cause Damon is my absolute favourite character throughout the entire series. He's dark, bad, but hides so much emotion inside of him and Elena happens to be the only one who gets his humanity to grow back on to him. Out of all characters, I find Damon to have the deepest soul and in ways it feels like he's still trying to find his way in the world. The only reason I wouldn't be angry or upset if Delena is endgame is because Damon deserves to be happy and if it's Elena who happens to make it happen, I wouldn't mind.

It's hard to say what couple the writers will make endgame. They're starting to build up the relationship of Delena more but in the end, I think Stefan & Elena will end how their relationship started: together. Either way, you gotta love the Salvatore Brothers.

It's always gonna be Stefan and Elena. Elena is very careful with her words, she won't give up easily on Stefan. She will fight for him no matter what happens. Stefan does the same for Elena. He truly loves her, can't you see, he almost died for her? Even Elena. She'll do everything just to be with Stefan. Because "It's always gonna be Stefan." ♥

Yes, Elena has said 'I love you, Stefan' for a zillion time. I know. But at the end of season 2 she says 'I don't even know what love is' So you can throw that ridiculous argument in the garbage bin.
As a Delena fan through heart and soul I have to say Delena. I love how careful the writers are being with these two, whereas Stefan and Elena were thrown together in the very beginning. Girl meets boy, they fall in love. Very high school, imo.
I don't think she's going to keep fighting for Stefan, especially not after last night's episode.
I also think that some people really need to understand that this show is about a love triangle, so no, it's not always gonna be Stefan.
