A.N: This is a fanfiction of Riven and Flora but not of him and Musa. In this chapter, he is younger, but the fanfic will not be like the first season.

Chapter One: In The Beginning
My eyes began to water with tears that blurred my vision. I was watching something so horrible, yet so devious that I could not tear my eyes away from the scene. I was hiding, with fright and horror, behind a closet, watching scene that stopped me from working on how to সরানো out.
There, on the bed, underneath the the mass of thin sheets, was my Mom, Renee Turner. She was screaming for help, but I knew no one, not even the servants অথবা the workers, in the mansion never seemed to make a সরানো to get inside because I bet they were too scared. A man who looked to be in his early thirties was smiling devilishly and almost hungrily at Renee who looked like she was going to faint at any moment. Renee and the man didn't know I was here and I didn't dare want to make a সরানো until the man was gone. I mean, I was six years old and how was I supposed to beat that guy since he was so tall? Everyone seems to be tall these days!
I lived in a mansion with Renee and no father. She told me before my sixth birthday, that my Dad, Logan Turner, had died when I was born in an accident on his way to come see me. Renee told me that he would've loved me if he was alive, but he isn't. Renee told me that Logan was famous for his battletechniques and skills in a school called Red ফোয়ারা for young teeange boys.
"Renee, darling, I'll take care of you." The man ssaid, climbing over Renee's trembing body that was underneath the sheets. "N-n-no, Terence! I won't let আপনি অথবা else someone will come and arrest আপনি for raping me." At this, Renee sounded unsure and, the way I saw the man, Terence, smiling wide and ravenously at my mother, I knew he wanted that.I had to step in অথবা else my mother would die from her screams.
I looked around the dark closet that showed a bit of light that came from the light in Renee's room. The light touched something that shone with silver. 'What's this?' I thought as I reached my arm towards the silver light. Once I touched it, my eyes widened. It felt as solid as metal and as sharp as razor sharp knives. I grabbed it and jumped into the room, seeing Terence's lips just toucing above Renee's upper lip. He instantly turned his head to me, slowly releasing Renee দ্বারা her wrist. I heard her sob at the movement and I knew Terence had put a grip on her pretty hard.
"You...you're not Logan's son...are you?" Terence asked, trembling at the sight of me holding a heavy sword. To my surprise, it didn't feel heavy in my graps. "You were trying to threaten my mom were you?" I gritted my teeth at him, shooting daggers at Terence's icy blue ones. Terence's hands, as I saw, were shaking with fear and his eyes kept glancing towards the door. "I'm only going to say this once, Terence." I ব্যক্ত with anger. "What is it?" He asked. "Don't আপনি ever come here again অথবা I'll kill আপনি for real this time. I swear." I ব্যক্ত it with dark, threatening বেগুনী eyes.
Terence just nodded without another word and staggered lazily towards the bedroom door. I guessed he was drunk with Renee. I sighed and turned around to see my mother staring at me with a mix of anger, shock and relief. I slowly walked towards her side of the বিছানা I sat down cautiously because Renee had been staring at me with those feelings in her eyes. "Mum...what's wrong?" I asked worried. Renee sighed. "Riven, where were you?" she asked. "Um..." I ran a hand through my spiky dark magenta hair. "I was searching for something that I left around here. But then I heard voices and footsteps coming to the room, so I hid in the closet. I found this," I held up the sword. Renee smiled.
"That's your father's sword, Riven." Renee explained. "Really?" I asked, surprised. Renee nodded, still smiling. "He told me that he was প্রদত্ত দ্বারা it from the head principal of Red Fountain." "That sounds cool." I sighed, placing the sword near the foot of the bed."What's wrong Riven?" Renee asked. I shrugged. "It's just...I haven't met my father before and he sounds like a hero." Renee chuckled. "Well, of course Riven! Where else would your father go, other than Red Fountain?" I shrugged. "Point taken." I smiled at that. Renee laughed and soon, the anger, relief and shock disappeared from her dark blue eyes. After several moments of silence in the room, Renee opened her arms out wide for me to come into them and her a hug.
"I প্রণয় আপনি Mum." I sighed, snuggling up to her warmth. "I প্রণয় আপনি more, Riven." Renee whispered in my hair. Before I fell deeply asleep in Renee's arms, I heard her say, "I'll always প্রণয় you." But I was too tired to ask why she ব্যক্ত that.
The পরবর্তি morning, at 9:30a.m, the sun peeked through the dark velvet colored curtains that covered the windows from letting any sunlight in Renee's room, and shone onto my face. বেগুনী eyes squinted at the sun's rays and I yawned as I sat upright. Soon afterwards, I realized that Renee wasn't in বিছানা with me like always. 'Where's Mum?' I thought and looked around the room. Nobody, but me, was in the room and that was no such luck. 'Maybe she went to get us breakfast from downstairs.' I thought, tryng to reassure my nerves that maybe Renee was in danger again like last night. But once I pulled the বালিশ a little closer to my head to get comfortable, I felt a peice of paper in my gasps.
"Huh?" I thought aloud as I pulled my arm out, seeing a sort of letter in my right hand. I opened it when I saw it was for me and read the letter.
Dear Riven,
I'm so sorry to leave you, sweetiepie, but I can not stay any longer, so I'm going to a different place, a place where আপনি can't come to. I've already called my oldest best friend, Kelly, to come and pick আপনি up so she can take আপনি to her house to stay.
I will look for আপনি Riven, even though আপনি would hate me for leaving আপনি like this. I প্রণয় আপনি so much.

Huge tears glistened bright in my বেগুনী eyes and my lips quivered in anger. 'Why are আপনি doing this Mum?' I thought as I felt the tears drop to the letter. Suddenly, I heard the front door knock loudly throughout the bedroom door that was open. I knew who it was. Kelly. I immediately threw the heavy duvet across the বিছানা and ran out of the room, just to see one of my family's closest servant, William, who has almost been our family friend before I was born. "Don't open it Will!" I yelled at him. "Yes sir!" William obeyed and walked back to the direction he went from while I was running up the spiral stairs to my room. I chucked my old and empty schoolbag on my বিছানা and went to my closet. I threw out several T-shirts, shorts, pants, socks and two pairs of shoes. I threw a book of skills and techniques in the pile too.
I shoved the clothes I threw, into my schoolbag and I zipped it hastily before I ran back down the stairs. I wanted to get Logan's sword so that when I am older, I'd be able to defend myself. But before I could go to Renee's room, I heard William call out to me. "Riven, where are আপনি going?" I slowly turned around, biting my bottom lip nervously as I did so. William stood in front of me but then, he kneeled after a while so I can see him better. "Are আপনি running away?" he asked. I sighed and ran a hand through my messy hair. "Will, don't tell anyone and not even the others in the mansion, please. I'm only doing this so that Mum can't find me. She abandoned me Will, and I feel like she doesn't প্রণয় me anymore." "Don't think like that, Riven." William said, sounding positive.
"I'm sure your mother loves you." he told me. I pursed my lips at that and noticed the change in William's face. "But...if আপনি feel the need to run away and survive, it is not my decision." I smiled. "But please be careful." William begged. I laughed and dropped my bag to hug him. "I promise I won't." I ব্যক্ত to him. William hugged me as a sign for me to know that he said, "There's a good lad." I pulled away from him and grabbed my bag off from the ground. "Bye Will. I hope to see আপনি again." I smiled before taking off to Renee's room. There, on the foot of her bed, was Logan's sword, and I rushed to grab for it.
I dropped my bag পরবর্তি to a window near Renee's ডেস্ক and went to Renee's closet to grab the sword's case and an old curtain I could use to go down to the ground. After a few মিনিট of tying the ropes to the head of the bed, I was finally ready to get out of this place. I opened the window with all my might and, when it was wide enough for me to come through, I got the straps of my bag and strapped them to my arms, holding the sword in the case with a free hand. I wasn't much of a climber, but at least I learnt something in tutoring classes after school. My feet landed on the low-cut ঘাস and I smiled heavenly to myself. I looked back up at the room's window and saw William waving to me. I waved back before sprinting towards the front gate that ব্যক্ত 'The Turners' Mansion'.
The gate opened automatically as I neared it and then closed after I came through it. I turned my head around while it was closing, looking back at my memories of my home. I was going to miss everybody, but I had to leave.
