Yes, it's about damn time. I get really pissed when people are like, "Gwen trying to apologize to Courtney?........I'm done." Like let them be fucking friends it doesn't hurt anyone for god's sake -_-
I didn't really see them as friends before......and I hate how forced their friendship is. Gwen is trying way too hard and Courtney honestly doesn't care. I also feel like Courtney will use Gwen to get ahead. I don't think the friendship will last, but I worry that outcome will be a devastating blow.
^They became friends in TDWT. If the writers, and majority of the fans say they were then they were. Just because you hate Courtney doesn't mean they shouldn't be friends again. JS.
^ Some of the fandom thinks otherwise. Just sayin'. I don't consider one episode of bonding as friendship, and that's my opinion. I forgot....I can't share it because its unpopular. -__- And even if I hate Courtney, that has nothing to do with why I don't want them to be friends. I think it's going to end badly....and they'll BOTH get hurt in the end.

No doubt Courtney would use Gwen for the advantage. But she looked pretty happy. It will be interesting to see them in their uh fight scene in the next episode.
Amen lol^ tbh I think they are going to pass out...I mean Courtney is going to fight a bear for crying out loud. I have no idea what or who Gwen fights other than her. Although I don't think they get hurt from each other, but in the promo they both had black eyes.
At first I didn't like the friendship because Gwen was hiding the kiss that she and Duncan shared from Courtney, but before that they really did bond together and even both of them were surprised about it. But now that Gwen actually took the time to really think about her actions in the past involving Duncan and it leading to hurting Courtney, she wanted to redeem herself! She now knows that Duncan is a scumbag and doesn't care about anything, but himself and that Courtney really was hurt by the betrayal from Gwen mostly because she felt like she was a real friend to her. I'm glad that Courtney was really hurt more from Gwen then Duncan because that just means that she too values friendship over that scumbag. There are just too many fights between them and I'm glad that both girls are mature enough "to make peace than war." LOL :D
@Bakes: Wow. For you to still have doubts about the good things that Courtney can possibly do in the future and use the past episodes of this season to make you still doubt baffles me. Yes, it's a big possibility, but I also feel like your hatred of Courtney has something to do with it. I can accept the fact that Gwen has stepped up to the plate and owned up to her mistakes and so has Courtney. Maybe you know something I don't know... Oh, well! Your loss... ._.
@Centa: Just for your information, I answered this poll before the Gwentney breakdown in episode 7.....right now, I have mixed feelings about the friendship. I thought what they both said in episode 7 was sentimental and their hug was heartwarming. However, I do find their friendship to be very forced, and the writing is very out of character for both of them. I highly doubted Gwen desperately seeking Courtney's apology, when in the previous season, Gwen could have cared less about Courtney's feelings. Gwen felt bad, but it was nothing more than that. And I have a very hard time buying that Courtney only missed Gwen, and valued Gwen's friendship (the girl who she vowed to watch, and was suspicious of before TDWT), over her own boyfriend of three seasons who was the world to her. Their friendship is okay, and I can accept it......but knowing these characters from their past actions......they could both easily turn on each other. I don't hate Courtney.....she's grown on me this season, surprisingly enough, so please don't assume that hatred would influence my opinion. I just feel like the friendship formed a tad too quickly, and the writers could break them up.... Moreover, I find their friendship very hard to grasp, considering they didn't seem like they were best friends in the last season. They bonded as teammates, and they maybe became friends, or valued each other as friends, but that makes it hard to believe that this season, they both act as if they are long-lost sisters who have always had a bond and know everything about each other, especially after they both vowed revenge upon each other last season. I honestly can't understand Courtney forgiving Gwen so quickly.... it's not like her.
But, that's just my take on it. As of now, sure.....let the friendship happen. It's being thrown at us in every episode. But I am cynical, so I question how long it will last, or if the friendship will turn into a creepy obsession on both girls' parts. *cough episode 8 preview cough*

Thank goodness Duncan is gone, with him gone I hope Gwen never goes back to him, It would ruin Gwen's redemption.
My only wish is that they could have made his elimination smarter. what Duncan did was pointless and stupid
