The house on Sparrowmark's পাহাড় is 'haunted'. Nobody dares to trespass and it has been untouched for over fifty years. Other than that, Sparrowmark is a pretty peaceful place. Peaceful people, peaceful homes. One day, that was all going to change.
It was on an excursion where it all started. বছর 11 of the local school were on a tour of the small town and one of the attractions was the house on the hill. People called it the Ghosthouse. In the full class, twelve of them were... curious. They had to know what was inside, and besides, has anyone actually been attacked দ্বারা ghosts? It was Gwen's idea at first, then Duncan and Eva agreed.
"Anyone else?" Gwen asked the class. Cody, obviously, volunteered because Gwen was his crush and he would do anything to impress her. The four formed a little group.
"Any others who are ব্রেভ enough?" Eva called out.
"Hear that, Gwen?" Cody asked. "I'm brave!" Gwen just rolled her eyes.
Tyler stood up proudly. "If আপনি want someone ব্রেভ then I'm the one আপনি need!" They shrugged and let him join.
Bridgette stood up. "What the heck, I'll do it."
Geoff followed her. "If Bridgette's doing it, I'll do it!" he shouted.
Trent shrugged. "I guess I'll do it."
Meanwhile, Katie and Sadie were hugging Noah. The new obsession. Noah looked almost suicidal! "Anything to get away from these girls! Please!" And with that, Noah joined the group too.
Izzy, who had just been digging a hole, looked at the group. "Is it gonna be fun, scary and creepy?"
"I guess," Duncan said.
"Izzy loves fun, scary and freaky!" She said.
Heather glared at the group. "You are all nutcases!" she said, disapprovingly.
"Yet somehow I know আপনি want to join," Trent said.
Heather glared, but then nodded. "I guess I want to," she admitted.
"Then join!" Geoff exclaimed, "everyone's welcome!"
"Fine." She sighed.
Ezekiel was busy trying to tie his shoelace so he wasn't listening.
The teacher finished লেখা in her book and announced; "It's time to সরানো to the পরবর্তি attraction, class!"
"Quick," Gwen whispered, "hide!"
So they all hid behind a গুল্ম and waited. After about ten মিনিট the class was gone and they came out of hiding. Surprisingly, Ezekiel was still trying to tie his shoelace!
"What are আপনি doing here?!" Heather shouted.
"Uh, tying my shoelace, eh." He said.
Gwen sighed, "I guess আপনি can come with us." She said.
So they all walked into the house.
Gwen, Duncan, Eva, Cody, Tyler, Bridgette, Geoff, Trent, Izzy, Heather, Noah and Ezekiel didn't know that up ahead of them would be the beginning of an epic adventure.
