I remember visiting this website once...
It was called Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race is an upcoming Canadian animated reality television series which lampoons the conventions commonly found in reality television. The show is a spin-off to the original Total Drama series created in 2007. The series is created by Fresh TV Inc. and distributed by Cake Entertainment and is the second series created as part of the greater Total Drama franchise. The style of this series is direct parody to that of The Amazing Race, with many story elements based on the reality series. All of the characters in this series have distinct personalities that serve as a main plot point with the characters consisting of the eponymous fictional reality series and the contestants therein. The series is expected to premiere on the American cable television specialty channel, Cartoon Network
and air on the Canadian cable television specialty channel, Teletoon later in 2015. Like the original series, this series will bring back the traditional length of 26 episodes, per season.
The series will be based on The Amazing Race and loosely parody the reality series. It will take place around the world and feature individual pairs of contestants, rather than teams, just like the reality series it is parodying.
The first season of The Ridonculous Race is expected to consist of only new characters while some characters returning from the original Total Drama series. All characters will be split into 18 teams of two, and must race around the world while being hosted by Don. The winner will win 1 million dollars.
the following voice actors had been confirmed as cast members:
Scott McCord and Carter Hayden are also confirmed voice actors, but their characters have not been announced.
Even though some of the characters from the main series will make appearances, the spin-off series will be primarily dominated by a new cast who has yet to be introduced.
The spin-off series will be a "Buddy Comedy" and will include 18 pairs of teams (36 contestants).
Kristin Fairlie, the voice actor for the character Bridgette from the original series, is set to voice one of the new contestants named Carrie in this series.
Scott McCord (voice of characters Owen and Trent in the original series) as well as Carter Hayden (voice of Noah in the original) were also revealed to be returning to the cast, as they were seen in the recording studio together.
It was eventually revealed that the first pair is to be the aforementioned character Carrie and her best friend Devin, who is played by Jeff Geddis.
In February, the second pair was revealed: Stephanie and Ryan. The two are voiced by Nicki Burke of Dead Rising 2 and Joseph Motiki, from Rescue Heroes.
while Terry McGurrin will write screenplay,
Production for this new series commenced on January 1, 2014 and it is scheduled to conclude on October 30, 2015.
