BL are like literally from different worlds, and will always be different, imo thats why the connect, but sometimes to me, they are the same at heart.

each wanted a family someday.
each always called OTH home.
they opposites when it comes to interests and sutff, but deep down, they're hearts r the same.

Chuck and Blair are Diffrent but The Same.

Jack and Kate are opposites but not completly. Same with Veronica and Logan.

Mulder/Scully & House/Cuddy Total Opposites :D

I can't say Damon and Elena are completely different or completely the same, but they are in the middle. They are opposites, {Damon being a badass vampire etc and Elena being the good human girl etc} but in some ways they are similar; like her and Stefan together are the same basically, because they are both serious, yet when Elena is with Damon and they actually are getting on they are both the same in that they have fun together. Also, both have issues {sorta} except Damon's are worse lol.

They're both really vulnerable with pasts, but what makes them different is how they deal with it and what they show themselves to be when with other people. Ziva seems to be this hard nosed assassin and Tony shows himself to be this humorous playboy. But the only time that they really show their true selves is when they're with each other.

Chuck and Blair are very similar, but there are also key differences.

Although I do see a few common factors between them, Bobby and Alex are completely different. However they both have really sad pasts (his is way worse than hers). For instance he's weird and hated by a lot of other detectives because he's so smart and she was like the major case squad golden girl before she met him.

Idk really, Nathan & Haley used to be complete opposites,
But know they're kinda the same

Buffy & Angel aren't complete opposites... they are both sort of withdrawn from others and act emotionally distant... and they are also selfless champions who constantly put others first and care so much about others and the world.

But in terms of their personalities... they are pretty different. Buffy is usually (seasons 1-5) pretty spunky, bubbly, talkative and sassy. Angel is very quiet, broody, and mysterious.

House and Cuddy are actually pretty similar in many ways. But the key identity of their characters is completely different. The Idealist vs. the Cynic. So I chose the middle :)

Well my OTP is Jarod/Miss Parker from The Pretender and they really could not have been more different than each other. My other couple that is tied for OTP would be Mulder/Scully so I guess I like the whole opposites attract thing!
