I don't think so... I could have felt a little bad here and there but never really pitied.

Hannah Burley...I definitely felt NO pity for Hannah because she wasn't even really in a situation where she needed it. Even if she was, I doubt i'd pity her. I pitied Booth during and immediately after their breakup, though.

At first I didn't really like the rival guy, he was arrogant and annoying but later on (mostly after he was killed) I really felt bad for him. The poor guy was pretty much used as a relief device after the girl thought the guy of my OTP didn't love her. She was basically just stringing this guy along, and he may genuinely have really liked her. After his death she mourned briefly (likely remorse that she used him and he got killed) only to shortly be swept off her feet by the guy I wanted her with. I'm happy how the storyline ended, but I feel bad for the rival because he died thinking that the girl wanted as much out of the relationship as he did. Of course the end pairing I'm talking about is Louis Fitch/Ariana Sanchez on Detroit 187 and the rival was John Stone.

I feel bad for what the GG writers have turned CB into.
And that NJ have been forgotten, but I do ship Nenny and I ship Chair up until the second half of season 3, so it's probably because I ship them.

^Might not be, because I utterly hated my OTP's rival but when I realized how the poor guy was used I wished they would have found him a loving girlfriend instead of killed him.

I felt bad for Jeanne after Tony told her that none of their relationship was real. But then she accused him of murdering her father out of spite and that was all thrown out the window.

Pacey/Joey - Yes. I feel bad for Dawson & Joey fans because in all six seasons of Dawson's Creek, Dawson & Joey were only together for 11 episodes during season 2. That was it. The rest of the series consisted of them almost getting back together.
Examples:
- Joey offered herself to Dawson (He turned her down)
- Joey wanted Dawson back (He wanted to be independent & didn't want her to hurt him again)
- Dawson wanted Joey back (She had already fallen in love with Pacey)
- Dawson & Joey kissed right before he went to L.A. for the first time (Joey realized that they were each other's security blankets; Dawson's dad died & he blamed her; Dawson & Jen got back together)
- ^^ for the second time (Joey told him to go to L.A., where he started dating Natasha)
- Dawson & Joey had sex for the first time (It ended up forever being a one night stand because Joey found out that Dawson had a girlfriend that he broke up with the morning after they slept together. Dawson later said that if either one of them had been thinking, they never would have slept together.)
After all of this, they didn't talk to each other for 8 episodes. By the time they became friends again, Joey had been in relationships with Pacey (again) and Eddie (3 different times) and he had been with Natasha (again). They almost had a chance in the series finale, but she chose Pacey. Even though I completely hate Dawson/Joey, the fans really got royally screwed over. Dawson/Joey were supposed to be the OTP of the show, but by the time it was over, too much had happened for them to ever be together again.
Brucas - No

pity is not a very good word, anyways... when the writers treat a couple really badly I feel sorry. Like Huddy (not rival ship but I hate them).

Yes I'm not a monster. I felt sorry for Brooke in season 1 when Lucas left her & was sorry for her in season 6 when she was attacked but this doesn't mean that I start to like Brucas or anything. But I definitely didn't felt sorry for her when she fought with Lucas and left him in 4.01 - I was happy and exicted for LP. So mainly it depens on why situation.
