What's the difference between 'hot and cool'?

Well, "hot" is used in multiple ways like the word bat. The word bat can mean a baseball bat, অথবা it could be an actual bat, the animal. When someone describes Edward as being "hot" they are referring to his physical appearance, rather than his temperature since he is, in fact, very cold. With Jacob, someone could use "hot" to describe him temperature wise, অথবা based on his appearance. Not everything is literal. So even though hot may be used to describe temperature, it can also be used to describe attractiveness.

For one thing being "Hot" is simply a term of looks. If আপনি go from there to "Hot and Cold" it is easily understood that Edward although handsome and charming and strong, has not heartbeat, no blood and is basicaly not alive.
