Movie Edward is আরো on edge. He's wary all the time, ready to jump at anything that tries to harm Bella. Not that he isn't that way in the book, it's just আরো extreme in the movie. Everything is heightened. That's how it works.
Book Edward is composed all the time. He's always calm. One of the reasons why movie Edward isn't shown as composed as book edward is because they have to প্রদর্শনী emotions visually. In the books, আপনি read about it, but movies, to explain the feelings of characters, they are shown.
To continue with the difference between movie and book characters.. this applies to Jacob as well.
The New Moon movie made আপনি feel extremely sorry for Jacob. Not that it isn't sad in the book, but they leave আপনি feeling sorry for him. WAY আরো than in the book, in my opinion. This is due to the "love triangle". Summit is trying to pimp it to feed the merchandise. The অনুরাগী buy the merchandise and... the money will go to Summit.
In the book, I felt sorry for Jacob. However, I still didn't like him. After Eclipse, most অনুরাগী hate him because of how he treats Bella and how he acts. He's a noble character. But, my opinion is... the চলচ্চিত্র don't portray AT ALL what Jacob is in the books. In the movies, they portray him as the kid who gets screwed over all the time. They seem to disreguard his ~other acts as well such as him being a jerk sometimes. Again, that's how it works. Summit pimped the "love triangle". They haven't portrayed the বই like they were supposed to be portrayed. Again, that's how it works, unfortunately.
