Chapter Two-The Party

    Charlie and I ate at the lodge than we left to Edward’s house. Edward was waiting on the porch. Charlie left and Edward and I went inside. The inside of the Cullen’s house looked like a dance club, but so much better. Alice must have gone way overboard again. It was almost eight o’clock, so guest should be joining us soon.
    Jess, Angela, Mike, Ben, Lauren, and Eric were the first to come. I found out I barely knew anybody here.
    “The mutt is still not here, but I cant see anything” Alice ব্যক্ত as we passed her. “Bella wait here. Alice and I are going to talk to Carlisle.” Edward said. “No I’m coming too.” I said. “No stay enjoy your party.” he ব্যক্ত trying to comfort me, and he was gone. I sighed and started to find Angela, but someone called my name, “Isabella?” I turned to see who it was but he was not familiar. ”Bella” I corrected him.
    “Well Bella do I look familiar to you?” he asked. “no আপনি look completely unfamiliar to me.” I replied.” Look into my eyes, feel my skin.” he ব্যক্ত while touching my arm, it was cold as ice, colder than Edward’s skin. He lifted his finger to my chin and made me look into his eyes, they were bright topaz.
    “Oh আপনি must be one of Edward’s friends.” I said. “he’ll be back soon, he went to speak to Carlisle .”
    “Well আপনি can say we were friends” he mumbled mysteriously. I eyed him carefully.
    “Bella, could আপনি come outside with me so we can talk without humans that don’t know wont hear us?” he asked.
    “Umm…er…I guess as long as we’re back in soon, so Edward doesn’t worry.” I ব্যক্ত hesitantly.
    “Okay” he said.
    We headed outside. He stopped in front of his car. (big, white, square, van)”Bella this is only going to hurt a little” he ব্যক্ত only made for me to hear. “What…” I started but every thing went black and hurt

really, really bad. I believe he punched me in the face, but it was much worst then that, I think it was because he was a vampire, but I didn’t know for sure. It could have been days, hours, minutes, অথবা সেকেন্ড but I could feel again. It felt like I was on a fuzzy couch. I didn’t expect that , I expected a cold ground.
    “It took a long time for আপনি to wake up.” he sounded all fuzzy like James did when he was stalking me, “I shouldn’t have hit আপনি so hard, I forgot how easy আপনি humans are.” He came up to me with an ice pack and offered it to me. “My hands are as cold as the ice but আপনি probably don’t want me to just touch it.” I reached for it and realized I only had one eye open. “How did I get here, who are you, and for one where are we?” I yelled.
    “No need to yell I’m right here and I could probably here আপনি in the other room if আপনি whispered. For one I’m not telling আপনি where we are and my name is Keith, and I drove আপনি here in my van.” I really was confused now. ”Okay ‘Keith’ why cant আপনি tell me where we are?” I asked
    “Because I kidnapped আপনি of course, just so Edward will worry dead over his feet for you. Also the cut on your head is bleeding, so I’m going outside. There is খাবার on the counter.” he pointed to the রান্নাঘর “You know we don’t eat so I got them for you. I hope আপনি like them.” then got up and walked out of the room. I went to find a bathroom but I found him দ্বারা the front door. That was my new destination.
    “You know আপনি wont get out if আপনি even tried, আপনি would just hurt yourself.” he said. “No I was j-just l-looking for the b-bathroom.” I shuddered my way through that nicely. ”Just through that door.” he pointed towards a door. “Can I take a ঝরনা to clean this up?” I asked “Sure, umm I guess.” he said.
    I knew if I gained his trust he might not kill me.
