Recap Chapter 2
Once they were settled I had Emmett go help Jasper hang the lights. I had to keep looking out the door and yell at them because the strings were flying at each others heads and I would be really mad if they broke and this didn't turn out the way I planned.
I got everything done for the night, we all sat around and talked until Esme announced that Edward and I better get going if we didn't want to be late for school.
I asked everyone to help get anything that I forgot(yeah right.) Esme ব্যক্ত that she would মোড়ানো the rest of the presents and Rosalie even offered to help Esme set up. Emmett and Jasper went out back to wrestle অথবা something and Carlisle headed off to work.
Edward and I walked out to his car and I grabbed a small silver gift, something to give Bella before the party.

"Alice, আপনি know that she is not going to like আপনি giving her a gift at all, let alone at school." Edward ব্যক্ত as he started the car and began the drive to school.
"I know but too bad! It's her birthday, and every girls wants presents even if they won't admit it." I ব্যক্ত as I turned the new Linkin Park cd in my hands.
"She's gonna be mad enough about the gift, she's going to be REALLY unhappy about the party." He said, worry seeping into his voice.
"Now that she has no say in. I didn't plan the last few days planning this for nothing. আপনি WILL do everything in your power to make sure she doesn't বেজি her way out of this...right?" I asked as we pulled into a parking spot.
"I will do everything in my power to make sure she's there." He ব্যক্ত as he got out of the car.

About 5 মিনিট later the loud rumble of her truck could be heard as she pulled off the road and into the parking lot.

Her mother had gotten her a ছবি album and had managed to talk her dad into buying her a nice camera so that she could document her birthday and everyone she was close to.
"Yeah, they're great." She mumbled.

"And how many times have আপনি been a senor?" She sneered.

Bella instantly grabbed Edwards hand and they began having a private conversation.
"So, what time will আপনি be at the house tonight?" I asked innocently.
"I didn't know I was coming over." She ব্যক্ত quickly.
"Oh come on, আপনি can't ruin all our fun like that are you?" I pleeded.
"I have to work tonight." She said, the joy of working actually showed in her voice.
I thought quickly back to yesterday when I had called the outfitterrs where Bella worked. I managed to talk Mrs. Newton into letting her have the দিন off, she would have to work tomorrow but today she was off.

She started talking about how her and Edward had to to watch Romeo and Juliet for English. I knew she was just grasping for straws at that point and my patience was seriously being tested.
I leaned closer near her and growled.

"Relax Alice, if Bella wnts to watch the movie, then she can." Edward said.
Bella began to smile because she thought she had won the argument.
"I'll bring her around seven." He continued.

I laughed and thought about everything.
"Ok sounds good. See আপনি tonight Bella!! It'll be fun, আপনি see." I smiled as I turned to walk to class.
I realized that she was not going to get her present right now. I sighed and placed the book back into my bag and walked into school.

Her eyes came to stop and Rosalie and Emmett. She smiled up at Emmett and tried to look friendly in Rose's direction.
